The food was good and the service was good. We will always go back there and enjoy the Bistro.
We were looking for someplace new to eat as we were growing tired of Carroll County options so we ventured outside the county with our search. This place showed up and the reviews instantly drew me in. We were definitely not disappointed in every aspect of our meal. The waitress we had we a bit over tasked but also told us it was because there was a gathering occurring which took up staff, but that is fine as long as we are aware of it. The tables are very well spaced for the current COVID rules and if we were to be ones who worried about that stuff, this place is doing all the right things...
The food: We had the wontons and they are incredible. Definitely will be getting them when we come back. We also had the Levitan and the Hopper. The Levitan is possibly one of the best dishes I have had in a long time. Love the flavors and the apples are amazing in this dish. The hopper was great too, but when put next to Levitan, I have to go with Levitan...
All in all, we had a great meal in a pretty cool looking environment. We will definitely be back!

Great food and drinks. Table placement was really bad. We were sat right at the opening for the bar so everyone had to squeeze past us (within the social distance requirement) to exit the room. Also lots of loud noise every time the door opened. Just very arrears and uncomfortable. They should consider removing that table for future customers.

Great food and nice bistro. My only complaint was our table was in the corner by the staff station and computers. A. Small wooden privacy divider would work for ambience there

Selected one star to be able to write this review - they should get ZERO! I made a lunch reservation through Open Table, got the confirmation email, and later on called the restaurant to confirm the reservation! Showed up at the reservation time, and the place was closed/doors locked. Called their phone number, and their recording said the restaurant should be open at the reservation time on a Thursday. My name, phone number and email address are in my Open Table profile (other restaurants often contact me to confirm reservations, using my Open Table contact information). NO ONE had called/emailed me to say the restaurant wouldn't be open, and it's been 3 days since and NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME to apologize for them not honoring the reservation. I've eaten there numerous times in the past; food and service were always great. But, now they've lost a loyal customer. Pathetic management. I won't go back.
We are so sorry to hear this, Kent. Our Lunch hours did change when the Covid restrictions first started. We are currently open for Lunch on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, so I'm not sure why you could make a reservation. Please know that we will be looking into this to ensure the new hours are reflected on our Open Table account. We do genuinely apologize and realize what an inconvenience this was for you. We hope you can accept our apologies and will give us another chance in the future.

Food was delicious and the environment was cozy
Enjoyed the crab cake sandwich, which was delicious! Service was attentive and fast. Winter, so we dined inside, however they have great outdoor patio seating. Hope to be able to enjoy this in the warmer months.

As usual, I enjoyed my dinner at Artful Gourmet, even at this challenging time when few quality restaurants still remain open. We started off with a shared fresh & crispy calamari appetizer, a definite fave. I had The Raphael entree which was very good, and VERY Hot!!
The Yukon potatoes were seasoned well, and the green beans were appeasingly crunchy. The service staff was friendly and efficient. Good job.
It was all good, though outdoors. A heater by the table would have made the experience more comfortable. Or, setting some tables on the sunny side of the building or parking lot.

This is my 2nd time dining at Artful Gourmet since moving to the area. I love the consistency with the service. Everyone works well together ensuring every guest is taken care of. The good is really good with a nice variety on the menu. A neighbors gem for sure.

So disappointing! Usually a great drink and meal as well as dessert. All I enjoyed was the dessert--- the one that was served to us as a second apology for the wrong meals and, before that, for waiting for 20 minutes for any service at all. Hope this is not the future but I am not keeping it on top of my list.

We decided to try Artful Gourmet for my husband’s birthday dinner, I hadn’t been to the restaurant in 3 years. The new restrictions due to covid -19 have really changed the dining experience!? I made a reservation for 8:15pm through Open Table and we arrived at 8:13pm. We were seated, the table and seats were sticky and had food on them. We were placed at another table and given the menus by the hostess. By 8:29pm we hadn’t been addressed by the waiter/waitress for drinks or to place and order? The menus are now printed on paper so they can be thrown away for safety - however the print is so small it’s a little hard to read. 8:43pm a young lady finally takes our order (there was more focus geared toward the outside diners) instead of the 8 patrons whom were seated inside? We finally got our salads (chicken in the Hakousai salad was dry) and Winslow Wontons at 9:15pm. The remaining entrees followed suit around 9:28pm? Salt and pepper should be offered or packets should be inside the wrapped plastic flatware. It shouldn’t take that long from entry to seating to be served an entree ever ... even with safety precautions in place? We are done of our meals and took the rest home. Not sure if we’ll be returning for another meal.

We've been going here for years. I've bought my parent's here for Father's Day about 5 yrs ago. They have now made it a regular to go place. However, myself & my mom ordered the Raphael it wasn't as good as it usually is this time around. The salmon was unflavorful & creamy dijon sauce was very bland. So this was the one time we didn't enjoy our food. I am not the person to send food back but I really wanted to because it was nasty.

Excellent experience. 1st dinner out since March. Appetizer, main coarse, wine, and desert were really very good. Lovely atmosphere. Great waiter. Will visit again.

Tucktaway in a local neighborhood in new town, we had high hopes due to the quaint outdoor seating and lighting and packed tables. However the service was in attentive, the food salty and unimaginative, and the neighborhood strangely filled with speeding idiot show offs disturbing the peace with revving engines and ungodly loud music. Meh.
Took my Sister there for lunch last Friday and returned for Dinner. Never did that before so you might guess that I really enjoyed the experience. And you would be quite correct. Enjoyed the Fillet and Crab cake for dinner and the Paella for Lunch. Was pleased with both experiences. Would recommend to anyone. Will be back soon.
Jake was incredible. Great drinks, food, and service. Outside ambience was perfect - cute string lights and the temperature outside was perfect. Definitely recommend.

All 4 in our party ordered the Hokusai salad. The chicken was dry, the salad was very soggy, and the crispy noodles were stale. After dining at this restaurant many times, this was the first bad meal.
Service not good. Steak over cooked Presentation was poor not likely to come back

We sat outside because of COVID. Although it was a hot day, the shade from the umbrella and the trees made it pleasant. The lights gave it ambience. Our waitress was very personable.

Had to eat inside because there was not a table outside. Because of the COVID issue we were concerned but we agreed. Other than that mix up things were very nice. Service and food were excellent as always.
