I made a reservation on Open Table for 12:15 pm for lunch. I even got a text saying that it's confirmed from the restaurant. When I called the restaurant to inform them I'm running late can I push it to 12:30pm the hostess said she can't find my reservation. So instead I went to the bar for lunch. When the bartender asked what would I like to drink I asked for a lemonade. She informed me they don't have lemonade only water. She didn't seem helpful at all. It was just one thing after another, I won't return to this establishment.
Loved the atmosphere! Food was amazing and I will be back.
In town for a couple of nights and blindly looked for a place near the hotel. Food was great. Place had lots of TVs with sports. It was too loud to hold meaningful conversation
We did the restaurant week deal. The food was fantastic. After the appetizer we ate half of each remaining course so we could save room for dessert. The steak was well seasoned and medium well as requested. I’d definitely visit again
The only downside to this experience was that the pesto pasta was a little bland. Other than that everything else was great.
The food was good but service was slow
Inexperienced staff. Poor service. They act like they are doing you a favor.
Very loud! Food was good. We were there during happy hour time so maybe that’s why it was so loud but we had to shout to talk to each other.
I went to Barcode for lunch with a colleague. The service was great, attentive and friendly employees. The food was delicious. No complaints here!
Service was very bad, waited 20 mins to get water and a waitress, the place was not crowded. Disappointing overall.
We went long after happy hour was over and it was still at a full roar in there. We asked to move tables but it didn’t really help much, but we instead got the evil eye from our original waitress all night. Our second server was a blast though — could have had our drinks out faster but that’s fine.
We tried this place because it was near our hotel. We shared a caprese salad that was great. My husband said his cheeseburger was good, prepared correctly. I had the penne pasta with vodka sauce. I asked the waitress if it was spicy, she said no, so I ordered it. It was spicy, but I dealt with it and it tasted fine. Here was the problem - fruit flies! Lots of them. They ended up in my wine, I killed a few, we were constantly swatting them and I noticed the table beside us doing the same. Had to put napkins on top of our drinks to keep them out. It was annoying. I mentioned it to the waitress, so hopefully she passed it along to management who will do something about it. We probably would not go back.
Way too noisy! We could not talk—had to yell. Hard to find entrance since address is on a different street. Excellent happy hour prices and options but bring ear plugs.
If you're over 30, this is not your place. Good food, great service, but super loud!
Service was incredibly slow. It took a while to be greeted and order drinks. The food came out very quickly. Food and drinks were tasty.
Great food at reasonable prices. Pizza was delish.
Good food. Bad service. I went here Sunday for brunch. I made a reservation via opentable. I get there, give them my name, and I'm not on the list. I tell them that I booked via opentable and the girl at the door tells me "oh, we only take reservations over the phone." Apparently, Sunday Brunch is a special event at Barcode. It's a $40 (cash only)/person buffet with unlimited drinks, and you have to call and reserve a table. So after my name wasn't on the list, I was told that the only available space was on the patio. Because I had already paid $20 for parking, I accepted the space on the patio. My issue is that I didn't find any of this out until I got there. None of this is mentioned on the website. The food was good but all together, $100 for brunch for 2 is a bit much.
Took my husband to celebrate his birthday. Didn’t know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. Music, drinks, and food were on point. Would definitely recommend this for hanging out with friends.
I was here for their Cinco de Mayo event so I expected a large crowd. There was a lady at the door who was extremely rude and didn’t want to let me in stating she didn’t see my reservation. After about 10 minutes, she let me in because I had proof in my opentable app. As far as the music and the crowd my group and I had a great time. Lose the lady with the attitude and this place is perfect!
The food and service are consistently top-notch. The menu is sufficiently varied that everyone in our group found something to really enjoy. The waitstaff are always there when needed but do not hover. The manager is watchful as well. You feel "cared for" while enjoying tastefully prepared and presented food. It is my "go to" place near my office.
Austalian lamb chops were mouth watering, I could not get enough of them. The Martini was the best yet!
Michale was a great server/host and the food was great!
We liked our pizzas at this affordable dining option in the Golden Triangle district, and I appreciated that they had several vegetarian options on the menu. On a Friday at 7:30pm, tables were easy to come by, but it was extremely loud from the millennial happy hour crowd filling the bar and outdoor space. I'd like to try lunch sometime. The manager and staff were attentive.
Food is very good and good happy hour drink prices but a bit loud for our taste but seems to have a very active happy hour crowd who seem to really be enjoying themselves but not so easy on the ears if you want to converse with your dinner partner.
Forgot appetizers , but at least we weren’t charged. What we did get was ok
The restaurant had some repair on one side of the room. The service was still great and the staff excused the appearance
The food was excellent and was served very quick A good choice for lunch
Our food was good. But the service was terrible. The waiter was not knowledgeable of what alcohol brands the bar had and actively tried to dissuade our party from ordering certain cocktails. He was not attentive until he was called out on it with a threat to leave. The bar was also out of several beers as well.
Good value. This particular time the food was a little slow coming out and the attentiveness to service waned at the end of my visit. What should have easily been a 45 minute lunch ended up taking 1.25 hours.
I don't write many reviews, but I have to say I love Barcode. The food is always fabulous, and the wait staff, extremely accommodating. They always have great specials. It is kind of loud, which is why I gave one less star for ambiance, so I always try to avoid Friday night. But I'm old, so that's why! :-)
Great service from the wait staff recommending drinks and entrees and doing so while keeping high energy and a good sense of humor. We had the trio of dips to start, which were all really tasty. For dinner my wife had the chicken and waffles and I had the santa fe chicken sandwich. The chicken and waffles were delicious, some of the best I've ever tried. The chicken sandwich was pretty good, but not great. There was an option to add avocado for $2, but instead guacamole was added which I was not as big a fan of. It made the sandwich a little too messy. The great service will bring us back here in the future!
Food is decent and service was very good. We had one issue with a dish we ordered and they took care of us right away. The waiter was very charming and continued to fill our drink glasses.
This restaurant is not for the 55+ crowd. It is designed for a younger crowd with TVs ringing the bar and dining room. The music was techno-rock. However, the food was excellent.
Since, a dining experience for most is a total experience, I would avoid this unless you are young, like techno music, in an energetic atmosphere, and with good daily bargains.
Again, the food was excellent and the staff was good as well.
Barcode is dependably loud - always. Having said that, the food is excellent - and the Happy Hour cannot be beat. The Thai curry mussels are absolutely dreamy.
The wait staff was not very attentive or hospitable. The prices are rather high for the food quality. Happy hour specials are a joke. Appetizers cost as much as an entree. My burger had an odd flavor; didn’t finish it. I told the waiter and he didn’t offer to see if I’d like anything different and still charged me for the lackluster burger. The seven wings that you get for $14 was the best part of our food choices that night. The restrooms need some love. Having said all that, it’s a nice spot to unwind, albeit a little noisy, and the drinks despite the bad specials are pretty good. For me to score this place higher than a three—the wait staff needs a little more customer relations training and the food quality needs to match the price; right now it doesn’t.
They had great service, and the food was amazing! I will definitely go back again for dinner!
Great food & service!
Great restaurant after work or anytime. We were there on a cold wintery night and it really met the need for a warm meal!
The food is always great and the servers are very cordial. However the food takes an extremely long time to be delivered. It is not a good spot for a lunch hour but great for after work happy hour when time is not a concern.
The women's restroom was disgusting. The service and food were just okay. I wouldn't go back.
Kevin was an awesome waiter. Food was great service great. Thank you
