I’d come again. Came for restaurant week. The food could have been warmer but service was good.
Delicious food . Good wait service and we had a good restaurant week deal .
There was an amazing sue with the wine we ordered. Then our food was placed under the heat lamp and sat there for a long time while we waited for our wine. They said they would refire the food. I think they only replayed it as some of the items were cold.
One of us never received our soup!
Food tasted good. Our server was lovely but a little overwhelmed at times
Not sure what was happening but not what I would expect or the experience I have had here in the past
Following COVID safety rules, quick but not hurried service. Great attention to detail. Very friendly staff. Delicious options for restaurant week. Have the escargot, mussels, and creme brulee. You won't be disappointed.
Delicious offerings with delicate flavors in an cozy setting.
Food was mediocre. Nothing special about dining room. It would be nice to visit this restaurant in warm weather as the patio seating is very pretty.
The French onion soup is the best I have ever eaten!
I’ve been to this restaurant before and it’s usually busy with strong vibe. But being that it was a post holiday weeknight, not surprised that it was quiet and we were essentially the only guests. It was still a beautiful evening and we appreciate the gracious staff and service given to us TY
Always enjoy trips to Cafe du Parc. Lovely brunch with great service.
Coffee is excellent! Food was great! Server was very friendly! Would come again!
My main gripe is that I ordered off the menu "Cinnamon Raisin Broiche French Toast" It WAS NOT made with cinnamon raisin broiche but with plain brioche bread. I sent it back and my recook was an exact replacement of standard frech toast but now with golden raisins thrown on top. Change the name of the menu item if you can't deliver what is plainly written and therefore expected
For such a luxurious place as the Williard Intercontinental Hotel, one has high expectations to dine there. The Cafe Du Parc was a disappointment. Our party did not have time to enjoy cocktails before the food started to arrive, which is not typical for a fine dining experience. Bread was not complimentary. I guess they do not need to have you nibble on bread since they bring the food out before you finish cocktails. The food was average and the fish was below average. The ambience is below average for a restaurant in the Williard. Investments definitely need to be made to bring this dining experience up to the standards of a luxurious hotel and an attraction adjacent to the White House.
Service was very lacking.
Excellent French onion soup! Desserts were delicious and service was great. Hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas!
Service was amazing food was great.
I asked to be moved to the outdoor seating at the last minute and they were very accommodating.
Definitely will come back and recommend to friends.
The trout almandine was spectacular as was the onion soup.
The place was packed. No social distancing and lots of screaming kids. Food was excellent as was the service but it was not what we expected. We were hoping for a quiet romantic escape and this was the opposite.
It’s been years since I’ve eaten here but I always remembered it as a great dining experience. It has obviously gone downhill. Food was very underwhelming, especially for the price. The charcuterie board was basic - nothing I couldn’t buy at Giant. Lobster bisque was sad. The only standout was the fries. Disappointing meal overall with a hefty price tag.
Beautiful ambiance but food was pretty terrible considering the price and previous reviews. My steak in the steak frites dish was very tough and unenjoyable. My girlfriends beef dish was also extremely tough. Service was poor and our waters were empty for periods of 30+ minutes. They did not come back for a second round of drinks in 60 min+. There was a larger table next to us (6 people) however the restaurant was fairly empty. Would not recommend based on service and food, would highly recommend based on view.
Food was lesser quality.
Servers were short staffed, and rushed to work with many tables.
Dinner before the Nutcracker.
Great place to meet friends.
Love the food, the location and the service?
Great everything was great love our server she was amazing food was soooooo good
Great food, gave us the quiet table as asked, spouse's steak was excellent, one of the best ever.
Great pre theatre lunch before the nutcracker!
Very good service, delicious food, beautifully presented. Pricey - ok for special occasions.
In a fancy hotel I expected a better restaurant. Food was fine. That's all.
Food was delicious and service was great.
It was fine
Overall we were underwhelmed. The mussels were so bad we didn't even eat them. We should have sent them back but we were honestly too tired to bother.
Fabulous food and service. We will come back for other special family occasions.
Food was not good. The hype and price did not match the taste
Last minute table for one, before an Acela departure. Jaime turned around the bisque, octopus, chicken for main and crème brûlée just in time. Hasty, but peaceful meal!
food and service was great but we were seated downstairs in the middle of the room right near the door. host stand was facing us and traffic swung by us regularly. this made the experience not so great - upstairs sounded loud but we didn’t look. everyone was gone from downstairs within 15 min of our arrival. i should have bitched but didn’t. if there’s a next time i will request not that tiny small crappy table.
Fabulous food and service--portions perfect--got to enjoy the Willard Hotel ambiance too!!
Great food and very large portions for the cost. I swear a single order of eggs was a half a dozen eggs. A single order of bacon on was 10 strips of bacon. Definitely shareable. Great energy, service and vibe!
The avocado toast was excellent, but I was a little disappointed they refused to allow us to sit outside despite the fact that most tables were empty.
The food was great. The service , not so much. The server was a little inattentive.
Our favorite breakfast spot downtown DC.
