We are a full-service family owned and operated restaurant established in 1984. We are dedicated to offering the finest seafood available for the best value. Our specialty is farm raised catfish, but our menu is quite diverse. We have a variety of all-you-can-eat specials like shrimp, stone crab, ribs as well as generous traditional portion meals.

First time dining at Catfish Dewey’s and had a great experience! Some Crabs were fresh and delicious. Portions were enough. We will definitely come back again and again!

Fun atmosphere great food good selection. Nothing fancy. We enjoyed the stone crabs, garlic shrimp pasta, fried catfish. The sides were not great (cold fries and fried okra) but the entrees were excellent. Good pricing and service was friendly.

The decor in Catfish Dewey’s hasn’t changed a bit since it opened, but that is part of its charm. The food hasn’t changed either, still delicious, hot and fresh. Excellent value, generous portions. The catfish has a delicious outer cornmeal crust and the fish itself is tender and moist, great side dishes and the collard greens are awesome!

Had 1 pound of medium stone crabs for a great price. Throw in the hush puppies, Cole slaw and another side - I had a sweet potato - and you have a fabulous dinner! No one left hungry.

On a busy Sunday evening with a line extending out the door, with our Open Table reservation, we receded within five minutes of our reservation time. While the restaurant is casual and reminiscent of "old style" Florida, the food offerings are amazing. The fried oysters are the best we've experienced in South Florida, and the combinations with grilled catfish are tasty and plentiful. For those who prefer all you can opportunities, it appeared that the patrons' portions were regularly refilled. Despite being very busy, and even though we each ordered a single entrée, our server was attentive and always asking if we needed anything else. If formality and pomposity are not your thing, and a great casual dining experience is, this is a place to go.

The waitress was very nice and pleasant but it went down hill from there. The all you can eat snow crabs were absolutely the worst we have ever experienced!! Very little meat, almost impossible to get out of the shells. The meat literally disintegrates as you try to remove it from the shells. The occasional piece that we were able to actually get to our mouth had zero flavor. All this for $64.95 per person??? Really??? We complained and they lowered the price to $24.95 which is the price for 1lb of crab legs. So we paid $24.95 each for something that was horrible. The restaurant was beyond loud and noisy. 3 people for $175 of sub par food. Plus since the quality of the food wasn’t the server’s fault we still gave her a $50 tip. Catfish Dewey’s this was our first and last trip to your restaurant.
