   Best pasta we've ever had. The lamb chops were also cooked perfectly. Our server was very patient explaining the wine list to us. It was a great experience.

   I've eaten at upscale restaurants all around the world. Cioppinos is in my top 10 for sure. The food, service and overall experience are amazing. The burrata with eggplant and fried artichokes and the ossobuco were highlights.

    Calamari - fresh and done right. One of the lightest calamari I have ever had. Batter was the right amount and the squid itself was not overly chewy. Gnocchi white truffle - very nice truffle flavour that does not overwhelm the rest of the dish. Nice texture of the gnocchi and the sauce that went with it. Veal mushroom - good mushroom sauce to pair with the veal. The sides were a nice addition to cleanse the pallet.

    It is a lovely restaurant, food was good. We didn't feel it lived up to the hype, maybe we didn't order the right things? Everything was good, not great. There are many other restaurants I'd go spend my money at before coming back.

    - Zucchini Blossoms ($28): The crispy zucchinj blossoms with mozarella di bufala and ricotta was just absolutely good and worth the money for. This is 5/5. - Foie Gras ($40): The pan seared Quebec foie gras with brioche and milk jam and marsala wine was just perfect perfect perfect. It is amazing how sublime it combined from one to another. Even though it is expensive, you should definitely get this 5/5. - Blank Ink Gnocchi ($42): The cavatelli al Nero di Seppie with pomodoro San Marzano and lobster morsels was cooked to perfection. It was very chewy and tasty. It was not overdone nor underdone so the chef really knows how to make al dente pasta. This is 5/5. - Parmigiana ($38): No question needed this is the star dish of the night. Our cheapest main dish, but it was the best. It is the chef's grandma recipe, and this is really reminded of homecook food. This is what they call a perfection 5/5. - Sable Fish ($58): The pan roasted fillet BC sablefish with soy sabayon and green vegetables is truly extraordinary. I love how the chef really outdone the fusion cooking. Great to know that the chef knows about Japanese food. This is madness 5/5. - Short Ribs ($45): The beef short ribs braised in red wine with glazed carrots, peas and creamy potatoes was cooked perfectly too. I am so stunned to say how good the ribs are as well as how perfect the creamy potatoes. Truly the best mashed potatoes I have ever tried even better the homemade recipes of my brother. Cheers 5/5 - Creme Brulee ($16): The maple syrup creme brulee with anise and almond biscotti was one of the best creme brulee I have ever tried. The perfect softness and hardness was truly outstanding. A hard 5/5. - Tiramisu ($16): The tiramisu with dark chocolat sorbet and cappuccino foam was disappointing though. Google review and yelp really deceived me on this one. I should have listened to Stu's recommendation. I have tried better tiramisu out there so 3/5. - Soft Heart Cake ($16): Perfect

    Plating is not up to standard. Ordered the lobster pasta. Tasted good but looked horrible. My partner ordered the beef. The texture was very dry. The ice cream that went with the tirimisu doesn’t look appealing neither

    Took few months to get a reservation but definitely worth the wait. Had a fantastic dinner with great food & drinks. Our server was amazing with recommendations and specials and helped us narrow down options on the incredible looking menu. Can’t wait to come back in July!

    Went there with my friend for her birthday. We didn't order desserts but the server gave my friend a surprise birthday dessert. That was a very nice touch and this, on top of great food and top notch service. All the servers were attentive and warm. Only complain I have is the lack of parking spaces. Otherwise, it was a great night out for us. Thank you!

    It was louder than we like - but the food was exceptional, service impeccable and overall we would love to return. The truffle gnocchi was perfect, the duck with a hint of cinnamon was cooked well and very tender. Frois gras was excellent! For a great finish we had the off the menu chocolate soufflé and one of the best creme brûlée ever!

    Poor service and food was ok taste like the ones you find in any restaurant like cactus or earls but overpriced. To be voted one the best restaurants in the world it’s far from it. You get for the same price a way better food, service and amazing taste at Elisa

    Cioppino's is one of the last fine dining establishments located in Vancouver BC. Great service, a wonderful wine selection but most importantly - AWARD-WINNING CUISINE! A meal at this delightful restaurant leaves the diner anticipating their next visit!

    This is the restaurant that we go for our yearly office Christmas lunch. The food is superb and is the ambience. The staff is attentive and very knowledgeable. We have always enjoyed our meals and the wine list if great as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

    One of my best dining experiences in Vancouver so far. It is more like a Italian than Mediterranean restaurant to me. The dining place is bright, simple and elegant, with open kitchen so that you can see clearly what's going on there ~ which do makes me remember Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen a little bit, but, don't expected any dramatic fighting like in TV show, in fact, everything is in perfect order and you may even possible to go and see their working yourself. Waiter/ress are very well trained: polite, kind, and smart. They always show up on right time, never blabbering. The bread is warm, good, but the jam - seems like butter mixed with egg & Oliver oil - is a little bit lack of flavor to me. Beef carpaccio is very traditional Italian style and very well seasoned, I like it very much. Another surprise is lobster bisque, it taste very lobster, and chopped vegetables inside even brings more layers, excellent job. Osso Bucco, which is one of the most famous Italian dishes, is tender & jucy. I would give it a five star if they could serve at least one more bone with marrow. Valley Duck is perfect, with crispy skin & tender meat, have one cut, grab some sauce and enjoy a glorious piece of taste in your mouth - just like a symphony of Mozart. It is even greater because of the side dish - the fried rice is crunchy & tasty,and brings amazing balance, fantastic job. As a recommendation, better order espresso for MontBlanc, It's a bit sweety and definitely tea bag is not strong enough to balance it.
