I hadn’t read any reviews, went solely based off the menu and it was so delicious and the service was so good. I was honestly so impressed. The staff was so attentive without being around too much. The food I felt was well priced for the portions and quality was outstanding. I will definitely go back.

We made a great choice with Burrata while visiting a relative in the area. We all enjoyed our well prepared dishes that we ordered. Service top notch. Wish we knew in advance that it was BYOB.

Fantastic evening. Perfect. Jonathon was great. The wine list is interesting. Different grapes from unexpected regions. The food was just what we needed. My only complaint is that we don’t live near enough to eat here more often.

A friend of mine and I take our daughters out for tea one day every summer. Every summer we try a different location. We tried Akwaaba because it is the only Black owned tea house in the area and we hadn't been there yet. We loved it! Their attention to detail and warm welcome and ambiance we perfect and added to the fun of our annual experience. The girls (12 years old)really enjoyed themselves and so did we. We would rank Akwaaba as one of the top tea houses in the area and will definitely go again.

Absolutely great experience. Such delicious homey food with great hospitality and service. Cannot recommend this place enough!!!!!!!!
