Winner of the Open Table diner's choice award in 2025, Jerk at Nite, founded by Howard University students, in 2014, began as a solution to the lack of late-night food options at Howard University. After seeing peers struggle with unhealthy fast food, a small group of students, raised in a Jamaican household, started delivering flavorful jerk chicken and other Jamaican dishes from their dorm room. What began as a small campus venture evolved into a food truck business in 2015, and later, a brick-and-mortar restaurant. The menu features healthy fusion dishes, such as pimento wood smoked Jerk chicken, Oxtail, and Jammin’ salmon, free of MSG and preservatives. Now with multiple locations in D.C., Detroit and Baltimore, Jerk at Nite continues to grow and serves the community with a focus on quality and flavor. Located right across the street from Baltimore's iconic Hippodrome Theatre, this location includes an upscale experience of Jamaica. Enjoy the savory taste of our story on a plate!

    Sapodilla’s was 1000/10. The food, ambience, customer service, and vibes on a Friday night were all amazing. I will definitely be back with my friends and family and highly recommend to anyone seeking a great dining experience!

    I loved my experience at Catherine’s for my birthday! The vibes were amazing, food was top notch ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, music was fire🔥🔥🔥🔥 The staff was walking around singing and engaging with the crowd, encouraging patrons to enjoy themselves dancing and singing. The food came out fast and everything was hot, delicious and flavorful! I will definitely go back very soon.

    Dining at Cane was a great experience. It was great value for money. The food was tasty, the atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing, and the staff was courteous and helpful.

    I went to Jerk at Night for a surprise dinner night. We had an amazing time! The staff was fantastic! Alex was our server and I plan on asking for him every time we go. His sister was on point and checked on us and kept us laughing. The kitchen staff came out at service and put on a show with food presentation. We had the One Love meal... GET IT!!!! Following dinner we went up to their newly opened Speakeasy 10/10!!!! New Family in my book✨️
