El lugar ha sido objeto de un programa extensivo de decoración para restaurar el edificio a su antigua gloria. El periodo de renovación se utilizó para combinar algunas características de la época original de la construcción con muebles y decoración de estilo clásico que complementa la esencia original de la edificación. Le Bouchon Brasserie ofrece una mezcla de gastronomía francesa y británica en un entorno íntimo y relajado.     We use the Boar regularly but mainly at lunchtime. Dinner this time was superb with amazing food a good value. Service also was excellent

    Fantastic lunch in a beautiful setting with exceptional service. Such a gorgeous menu and everything we chose was delicious. We had a great dog-friendly table but would have happily eaten outside on the beautiful terrace if that hadn’t been an option. Looked like every table was comfortable, and there was a great atmosphere throughout the pub. Love the fact that the Sword has employed so many brilliant and attentive staff. It was easy to get service and everyone was smiley, helpful and friendly. Easily my favourite pub in the UK and I have to travel 90 mins to get to it!

    Fantastic service. Food was excellent, especially from the Bib Gourmand menu. Megrim Sole and Onion/Cheese tart were wonderful. Could have had an extra vegetarian option, but that’s being picky. But…and as a person who likes a drink, the 0% lager was as good as any alcoholic pint.
