Don't miss our festive afternoon teas, replacing our traditional menu throughout December. Dinner service is also available to book, Tuesday to Saturday, from 6:30pm until 9pm.

After surviving former lives as a dwelling and an antique shop selling Toby jugs, the Toby Cottage Restaurant was converted to a restaurant in 1979 and has been pleasing local gourmands ever since. The penultimate romantic restaurant, Toby Cottage is perfect for celebrations and family occasions and has original oak beams, a cocktail bar perfect for sneaky aperitifs, and a sensational wine list to compliment its English/Continental menu. We had a really lovely meal, the food was delicious (particularly the sea bass and lamb shank), the staff were welcoming and friendly and the cocktails were fabulous! Highly recommended!

Tony our waiter was as brilliantly as always. The food was absolutely gorgeous as always. It is a firm favourite of ours. The atmosphere was so lovely and the setting is simply beautiful.
