Si bien ofrecemos un ambiente informal y relajante, nos tomamos la comida, la bebida y el servicio muy en serio. Ofrecemos cervezas cuidadosamente seleccionadas y elaboradas (Harveys Sussex y dos más que se alternan), vinos (18 referencias disponibles por copas), cervezas lager auténticas, licores y refrescos. Nuestros platillos se preparan al instante y nuestra carta cambia cada día y según la temporada. Nuestro objetivo es que nuestra comida sea placentera, sincera y de temporada, además de asequible. Nuestro primer año tuvimos el placer de recibir un 'Bib Gourmand' de Michelin por 'Good food at affordable prices'. The Pig and Butcher occupies a handsome pub built in the mid 1800’s when Islington was a village outside London. The area around the pub used to be fields used by farmers to rest and feed their livestock before being sent to Smithfield’s Meat Market for sale. We take our inspiration from farmhouse tables across Europe. We use the best farms and suppliers in the country and present a weekly changing menu that reflects the most seasonal produce the country has to offer. We have an in house team that hand pick and deliver our fruit and vegetables each morning from New Spitalfields Market. We butcher all of our meat on site daily in our specially built butchers room downstairs. Our team have worked hard on curating a wine list that changes regularly. Our wine selection features some of the best wines from family-owned vineyards and larger winemakers from across the world that we have used since the mid nineties. We also offer a selection of beers.

The Albion es una joya georgiana que data de cuando Islington estaba formada por campos y tierras de cultivo. Nuestros clientes habituales dan un paseo por la tarde fuera de la ciudad para visitarnos. Tenemos un precioso jardín que recuerda al sur de Francia, en el que florece la glicina y el sauce crea un ambiente bonito y relajado. En la parte trasera del jardín hay un antiguo granero que solía utilizarse como bar; s rumorea que los Sex Pistols dieron su primer concierto en él. Dentro, las chimeneas de leña crean un bonito ambiente en los meses fríos, cuando podrá abrigarse y disfrutar de comida y bebida en la zona de bar y en el salón comedor. Nos visitan lugareños de los alrededores, acompañados de sus perros. Nos encanta recibir a estos animales y nos gusta darles agua y galletas. Una de nuestras especialidades es el lechón entero asado con toda su guarnición (brotes verdes y zanahorias con mantequilla, papas asadas, jugo de carne y salsa de manzana).
