We had a really fantastic meal. Excellent and creative dishes in an unpretentious environment. Our server (Veronica) was particularly lovely. Helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

This place is incredible! Not only is the food fantastic, but the vibe is immaculate! We started with drinks. I had the white Lebanese wine and my husband had a Lebanese beer and a shot of Arak. So good! We then opted for the prix fixe and we were not disappointed! The appetizer was a huge platter of delicious marinated carrots, cucumber & tomato salad, and an eggplant dip... 5 stars! For entrees, we had the spicy chicken and the honey lamb. Both were falling off the bone tender and absolutely delicious! We finished with baklava and mint tea. There wasn't a miss in the whole meal. Also the portions are huge! Worth every penny, we can't wait to go back!

It was a holiday weekend which I totally forgot. I guess the only restaurant that was open was this place. I was welcome by a young boy. He sat us and ask us what kind of water I prefer. I was amazed by the young boy how professional and knowledgeable he was. Helping his father. I had Caesar salad / cheese bread and arancini which it was delicious. I will definitely come back.

Renata Cafe is a great addition to the University City dining scene. The food is quite good, and the service always comes with a smile. We love dining at this neighborhood gem.
