A lovely evening with excellent service. Food was of a very high standard and very tasty. The only small negative we would have was that the location of the table we were on was a little tight. We would highly recommend.

Fabulous creative food, beautifully presented and friendly service. A real fine dining addition for Norwich. The wine list, while not particularly extensive, is well chosen and very good value, a refreshing feature that we really appreciated.

I always enjoy eating at Marlings because I love the calm atmosphere at lunchtime, the attractive decor, the outdoor tables and the staff are always helpful. The food varies, but on this occasion it was excellent. Each of us chose a different dish and all were very good. Mine was the fish and chips and the fish was the best I had eaten in years!

Very impressed, not just with the food and its presentation but by the thoughtful and kind waitress. My wife is diabetic and we had let the restaurant know in advance that she might need to adapt the menu. The waitress had made a note of this and could not have ben more helpful.

Exquisite, nuanced rich and deeply delicious food. Five courses, eaten over three hours: we gave ourselves over to Sam’s genius. The gastronomy was eccentric and electric, from burrata and figs to homemade pappardelle to carrot purée, from celeriac cooked like beef to courgettes cooked like fish. Divine flavours and an experience never to forget. A top ten Norwich gem.
