Very nice Restaurant been so many times always great & enjoyable beautiful food cooked to perfection excellent young Staff trained well always love going to Holy Basil.

Went for 20th Wedding Anniversary and noted it on the booking. We were wished a Happy Anniversary on arrival and all the wait staff independently wished us a happy anniversary. The food was excellent, as was the wine (Amis des crustaces Pinot Blanc). We ordered Oysters Kilpatrick to share followed by a half lobster mornay and a whole NZ Flounder with duck fat roasted potatoes and a butter lettuce side salad, rounded of with a shared sticky date pudding. All delicious, as was the complementary "eggcup" full of chowder served with fresh bread and olive oil + balsamic vinegar. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely go back on another special occasion. Not an everyday establishment, at least not for us, as it is quite pricey, but certainly worth splashing out for a treat and the excellent service. There are also other options on the menu that cost a lot less than the lobster. Average price of starters was in the low $30s with mains starting around $40 and going all the way to $200+ for a whole lobster or seafood share platter. Wine pricing was fair with Est. 150-200% mark up on retail which is what most places seem to charge.

I have become a regular at Freddies having tried all the other restaurants in the area. The staff are super friendly while the food is delicious. There Expresso Martini is up there with the very best. All at very reasonable prices.

Highly recommend this beautiful Italian restaurant, authentic food and ambience was amazing.

The food was well presented and delicious. The ambience resembled a 80’s club and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend the restaurant if you love fresh seafood.
