Kara Lounge and Grill is an absolute must‑visit when you’re in the beautiful Thurrock area! My family and I were genuinely delighted from the moment we walked in. We ordered the family platter, and it was a true feast — vibrant, generous, and unbelievably fresh. Every starter and appetizer they brought out tasted as if it had just been prepared moments before, and each dish impressed us more than the last. They didn’t just meet our expectations; they exceeded them in every possible way. By the end of our meal, we were all smiling wider than when we arrived — and our happy little tummies were proof of just how wonderful everything was. The freshness of the food was so remarkable that when we took our leftovers home, stored them safely in the fridge, and enjoyed them the next evening… guess what? They still tasted just as fresh, flavourful, and delicious as the day they were originally cooked. That alone speaks volumes about the quality and care put into every dish. The service was exceptional — warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience. Every staff member made us feel welcome and looked after. And the live music was the perfect finishing touch. The singer was absolutely lovely; her voice filled the room with joy, nostalgia, and a comforting sense of reminiscence. Each song added something magical to the evening. Kara Lounge and Grill gave us a memorable, heartwarming experience — one we can’t wait to repeat.

Fantastic evening, food service and overrule atmosphere

A massive restaurant, which I am sure will get very busy at weekends. Luckily we went on a Monday. Very friendly staff, good menu choices. We had garlic mushrooms and lamb cutlets; very tasty. The portions were very large, sadly we had to leave some food. A great evening, thank you

Lovely food and the service as usual was great. We love the place and come here at least 2-3 times a year as a family and other times with friends. The fish was lovely and well cooked as well as the lamb and chicken. You cannot go wrong here.
