David’s Opus Ten is open during each season for limited and exclusive pop-up events, celebrating seasonal products as they become available. Look forward to David’s Opus Ten Test Kitchen events, Maine Restaurant Week (March), and Portland Wine Week (June). Go to our events page to see what’s coming up.
This intimate restaurant within a restaurant is like nothing else in Portland.
Chef David is in the Opus kitchen himself to prepare this hyper-local menu. Cocktails and a surprise hors d'oeuvres promptly at 6:15 PM, followed by seven set courses with optional wine pairings or a mocktail option.
Reservations are strongly recommend as seating is limited to 20 guests and it sells out very quickly.
Opus Ten is also available year round for special events, private dinners, and parties.

As usual David turned in a stellar performance! 5 courses with lobster and 2 dessert courses. All amazing, flavorful and memorable.

We had such an incredible experience at David’s Opus Ten for Lobster Week! From beginning to end, the entire dinner felt special. Every course was beautifully presented, creative, and absolutely delicious, with the lobster truly being the star of the evening. The attention to detail was exceptional, and you could tell how much thought went into creating each dish and the overall experience. The atmosphere was intimate and welcoming, the service was wonderful, and we never felt rushed. it was the kind of dinner where you can relax, enjoy each course, and really appreciate the food. Lobster Week was such a fun concept, and David’s Opus Ten absolutely knocked it out of the park. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Portland and a meal we’ll be talking about for a long time. We will absolutely be back! 🦞❤️

Our meal was prepared by master chef/owner David Turin, along with an assistant, in a small kitchen just off the dining area, which only seats 18 people. It was almost like a private dinner party. The courses were timed perfectly, and the serving staff was very knowledgeable about each item. Highly recommend this experience, which is unlike any fine dining option in Portland!

It was an amazing experience. Unbelievable food, artistically served. Sitting by the kitchen, we could see the amazing way the chefs worked together to expertly serve everyone. Each dish was perfected before it left the kitchen. The pairings were excellent choices too and enhanced each course without detracting from the many and delicious tastes each bite held.

Everything was absolutely fantastic as always. The food is awesome of course, and so is the service and atmosphere. David not only prepares but helps serve and explains the dishes personally to each table. It is a very special and intimate experience. The wine pairing is a worthwhile add-on. We try to never miss an Opus 10 experience.
