Rintel’s Diner is Melbourne’s answer to the Thursday evening cholent culture of NYC- with bite, with spice, with joy.
The eatery is home to Jews and friends, both North and South.
Named for the shul’s very first Rabbi, Rintel’s will be a reliable spot for kosher eaters to come together before shabbes- to eat, to chat, to learn, to meet a new friend. And all for a good price.
With Chef Gitai at the helm, the Diner incorporates all the best parts of East and West.
All profits are reinvested in the shul to support local community programs and food provision.
It’s a mitzvah and a meal rolled into one.

La experiencia fue maravillosa en todo sentido. El ambiente fue lo que esperabamos, descontracturado, cálido pero no pierde de vista la elegancia. La gente del servicio unxs genixs, amables y atentxs. De la comida nada que se pueda decir, cada bocado era perfecto. Super recomendado 💚

Dear Richmond,
This little restaurant is our love letter to food. It's our happy little place, where we get to live the joy of feeding people everyday. We all grew up in spaces that equated food with love, just like this place. Everything we have done here is deliberate, from the art on the walls to the produce we use. We've made a point of sourcing ingredients from some of the best suppliers in the state, making sure that our menu reflects what's in season.

For us, this place is about experience: we try our best to make you feel both at home and 'out for something special'. Every plate that comes back wiped clean by someone who just couldn't get enough is a 'the hard work is worth it' moment for us.
