    Join ELWAY’S Downtown in ringing in the New Year with a special 1920’s Great Gatsby themed Dinner and Celebration. In addition to offering ELWAY’S Downtown favorites like Filet Mignons, Lamb Chops, Porterhouse, Salmon and Chilean Seabass, we will also be featuring exclusive specials like Freshly Shucked Oysters, Ahi, Waygu Carpaccio, Short Rib, Twin Lobster Tail, and Grilled Mushroom Risotto. Dinner reservations can be booked any time from 5pm-9:45pm. Two hour max on all seatings. At 10pm, ELWAY’S transforms into a 1920’s themed supper club with a live DJ and dancing. As the clock strikes midnight there will be a special celebration symbolizing good tidings coming into 2024. We look forward to bringing in the New Year with you!

    Caesar salad was over dressed. Cauliflower was undercooked and lacked flavor. Steaks were amazing, so was the tuna tartar, good wine selection, great service from Tommy.

    Tessa I believe was her name was absolutely wonderful!!! She truly made our visit relaxing and enjoyable. My son was sleeping the entire time but she kept making sure he was taken care of.

    Good, but very expensive. Living for many years in Chicago with all of their steakhouses, I just don’t see the reason why our experience should’ve been as expensive as it was.. It’s really nothing special, but you certainly pay like it is. That being said, the food was as expected and the service was excellent. The place needs updated desperately. Overall, the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. I doubt I will ever be back- just not worth the $$$.

    Very disappointing experience! Thanksgiving dinner at 6:00 and they were out of so many things! Ordered rack of lamb and it was raw. We had high expectations for a lovely evening and walked away very disappointing, so not sure we would recommend Elways!

    Service was lacking at best. We were told we had a certain server, but someone else took our order? Our table appeared to be forgotten about several times. We could not get more drinks, water glasses were constantly empty unless we literally flagged someone down. Nobody came to check on us. Asked for bread 3 times and never received any. Took 20 minutes for us to get our server to get our check. Clearly they were overwhelmed and mismanaged.

    Great experience. Lovely place, quiet. Server and hostess were wonderful. Food was great, too. And a very nice menu. Only negative was that, extremely surprising and disappointing, was that parking via the hotel valet wasn’t included in full or even partially. The valets were wonderful and very apologetic about that. But the parking absence was shocking for a facility and restaurant like this. Fortunately, the valet was nice enough to help me back out from the hotel entrance to get a parking spot on the street which, fortunately, was right in front of the hotel.

    We love going to Elway's. We did have a poor experience this time. Our waiter didn't take care of us. He never introduced himself and I had to wave him down and ask him for service every time we needed something.

    Everything was amazing! We shared our meals of sea bass and the filet. So delicious! Sides of broccoli and potatoes were awesome too. Highly recommend! Hope to go again next time we are in Denver.

    Our server was amazing! They gave us champagne and dessert on the house because we were celebrating our anniversary and my birthday. We mentioned we were going to Red Rocks and then they provided us with two winter hats and a blanket!! I felt like a princess! They went above and beyond! And the food…my God…the most tender and juicy cuts of meat just melt in your mouth. Top notch sides. I loved every moment!

    I did not want this review to reflect negatively on my server. There were a handful of greeters upon arrival but they all just stared at us and didn’t say anything. I had to greet them first. This is very disappointing because my experience was excellent outside of that.

    Everything was great, except very poor greetings at the front (was busy talking among themselves) and super casual busser calling everyone "my friend". The staff needs better training, if the restaurant wants to be "high-end".

    Once again we had our anniversary dinner there and it was simply outstanding. The Tuna App is simply delicous, the ceasar sales crisp fressh, and the steaks WOW! Can't say enough about very high quality meat prepared well. The staff was excellent and very much enjoyed talking to Mike Kelly. He served our food and was a joy to talk to! We will continue to return to this location for any special dinner.

    We ate at the downtown Elways. I had the sea bass which should not have had a fishy smell. My husband had the smash burger which was a small dry patty. The actual Smashburger has way better for a third of the price. Two others with us had strip steaks which were just ok and again over priced for the quality. The french fries were good and the lobster Mac was good. Sautéed mushrooms were over cooked and the brussel sprouts were weird. The crème brûlée was the best thing there. Service was good but the place needs updating inside. Looks like the 70’s. It was so over priced for the quality. I would suggest Capitol Grille or Shanahans instead.

    We stayed in the Ritz-Carlton for two nights and visited the restaurant several times. The food was OK, and the service was excellent. The "bar" food was alright, not spectacular, and the fries were OK. One dinner item was excellent (roasted corn and chicken soup). It was thinner than a clam chowder but still tasty. The other items we ordered were OK. We did not order their steaks, their focus, but we weren't that hungry. Overall, it was good.

    So second try for Elway's in 2 years. Last year was horrid, waited over 2 hours for food, steaks not cooked correctly, food semi warm. Terrible experience. So everywhere can have an off night, right? Tried it again this Sunday after the Broncos game (we beat the Chiefs!!). Should have gone to Outback or Sizzler. Service was just fine, our server was friendly and attentive, helpful with a wine recommend. That was the high point. Ordered and served with warm bread basket, but alas no bread plates. Ok. Got that fixed. Breads were good. Dinner arrives. They give my wife and I each others' steaks. Ok, we can fix that. Two dishes with "something" in them was served. We had ordered baked potatoes. What we got, without being asked, was mashed potatoes with the toppings we had requested for our baked potatoes on top. So 1) they were not good and 2) we were never told about them being out of baked potatoes (really a steak house out of baked potatoes at 7:30?) and given a choice on a sub. Not even our server was told about the sub. Steaks. 2 filet mignons, allegedly prime. We had asked for medium, got at best medium rare. Serious under done. Our server was not there to ask if the steaks were cooked properly until much later. Use the heavy duty steak knives to saw, not cut, not carve, but saw thru the steaks. I thought maybe it was just mine, but no, my wife had the same experience. Chewing on these $55 pieces of under-cooked meat was to get plenty of jaw exercise. I honestly have never had a chewy, tough filet, not even at Outback or Sizzler, choice or not. It was frankly ridiculous. I ate about half of mine, 2 bites of the potatoes, wife about the same. A manager did stop by, apologized, offered to comp, etc. An appropriate response which was appreciated, we declined a full comp and paid for both steaks and the wine . Of course tipped on what the full amount would have been (remember to do that!) Elway's was a huge fail x 2, never again.

    Top to bottom a great experience. Our server Steven was excellent as was the whole staff. The filet was just perfect and the sides definitely serve more than 1. Nice wine and cocktail list to round out a great meal.

    We were celebrating my friends 50TH Birthday while in town for the Broncos game. We were quickly welcomed by the hostess who also took our jackets. As soon as we sat down our server, Tess arrived for drinks and immediately wished our friend a Happy Birthday! Tess was extremely attentive and friendly! Our food was outstanding, we got the spicy steak chili 10/10, caesar salad (very good and shareable) and the Butternut Squash Soup (not my favorite but my friend loved it) fresh bread and butter (always a win). We all got different steaks which were fantastic, cooked to perfection. We all shared sides, Au gratin potatoes, asparagus, and the broccoli and cheese. Finishing off the meal was crème brûlée with fresh fruit and chocolate! The entire experience was amazing and we will be returning our next trip to Denver! Thanks Tess for taking such great care of us!

    Steak was poorly cooked. Asked for medium rare, got rare, then sent it back and got medium plus plate full of blood. If you proclaim to be a steak house you need to know how to make steak.
