Food was fantastic!! Martin was our waiter and he shared some great recommendations. From appetizers to dessert everything was great. Was also impressed and honored that Dean Fearing came out and spoke to all of his guests. Can’t wait to go again.

We have been here numerous times. Last night was very disappointing. Our server was not good. He was no attentive and would disappear for awhile. Even another server came over to check on us because she even noticed he was MIA. We asked for duck fat taters. Never brought them with our meal. Then asked again, he said oh yeah I’ll go grab them. Never brought them. I then asked a 3rd time and he said, I didn’t think you’d want them anymore bc you are finished with your meal. THEN…..he put them on our bill:(( Of course, we requested to have it removed. Just sad to be excited to bring our friends there to celebrate her Birthday and get bad service, when there are so many options in Dallas.

I do believe there are better restaurants for the value. Meat was overcooked, restaurant was almost empty but food took a long time to arrive. Kids fillet.. $62.

If you’re looking for an anniversary spot, this is it. The service is amazing, every single person we talked to knew it was our 5th anniversary and said thank you for spending it with us. At the end of the evening, they gave us a whole dessert tray with wood and daisy flowers, both symbols for your fifth anniversary, and it was the most sentimental and thoughtful thing they could have done. We LOVED it - great food & better people!

Unfortunately our waiter spent more time talking to other tables (one right behind us - everyone in pink shirts) than waiting on us. We had to get other waiters to bring coffee, desserts etc…. He didn’t seem to care as he just kept going back to that table and chatting. I wouldn’t go again but my husband says “give it another chance” - so we probably will.

The fish and buffalo were very good. The bbq oysters were missing the crabmeat that was listed on the menu. $9.00 for a cappuccino seems excessive. A French press pot of coffee was $8.00. How does that make any sense?

Fearing’s is one of my most favorite restaurants, it’s my go to place to cheer me up, some single women have retail therapy to help them feel better, I have Fearing’s. The food is phenomenal, the appearance/ambiance is perfect for any occasion and the staff are some of the nicest that I’ve ever met anywhere and not saying I’ve needed a lot of food therapy 🙂, I have traveled quite a bit.

We had a spectacular birthday celebration at Fearing’s. The menu has some amazing and truly unique items. Dean Fearing came out to personally welcome us and his wait staff was fabulous in every way. We will be back!

The service was good but that’s where it stopped. The Texas Caesar was unappealing with an overarching smoky flavor. The Duck was mealy, tough, cut incorrectly and lacked flavor while the duck leg cassoulet was unappetizing to say the least. All in all, had good meals here in the past and hope it was a bad night but the food was not on par with the caliber expected.

We enjoyed our brunch so much, that we revisited for dinner...both of our servers (Jeff & Gavin) were stellar at their service. Our food was timed perfectly and taste was spot on. The ambiance was pleasantly surprised by a great playlist. A win for our Dallas visit.

Ruined a birthday brunch. It was obvious this place is not well managed as it used to be. It is a shame this famed restaurant does not keep up with food quality but not shy about overcharging. Avocado toast did not have avocado- instead they decided to serve with pre-made salty guacamole spread. Chicken fried lobster salad that had two pieces of dry fried lobster over cobb salad was a total joke: menu had it for $32 but they ran my tab for $36. Somehow I felt it was intentional mistake since the place had more staff than customers (place was almost empty) they had to make up for their revenue loss somehow. I didn't want to ruin our birthday brunch for the group so I didn't bring it up to their attention. With so many good restaurants forced to close during Covid, I am amused that this one is still around.

Great vibes, wonderful food and menu. Dean Fearing lives up to his brightest star reputation. The margaritas are outstanding. And the service was attentive without being intrusive. Just the right touch on every level. Highly recommended!

My experience at Fearing’s was exceptional! The waitstaff was extremely attentive and had great course suggestions. Dean even made his way to my table to personally ensure that I was having a wonderful experience.

Staff are professional and courteous, atmosphere is great, food is just average. Dishes try too hard to be unique but become confusing and lack flavor. Deep frying a lobster tail sounds interesting, but simply delivers a whole lot of “fry” and very little lobster. High prices for unremarkable dishes.
