The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. Crispy beer battered fish and specials such as sea bass, turbot and whole lobster, is caught in the morning and delivered fresh to us on the same day.

    We had a lovely late Saturday lunch at The Tree Oaks. As always, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Never disappoints!!

    Warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere. Very accommodating of our requests to slightly change breakfast menu, which was so tasty. Great quality ingredients. Beautiful setting. All staff were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We would totally recommend .

    Nice staff, open and in for a talk. We had such a good time there. We even came back two days later for dinner again. The food is great, the pizza is homemade and you can see it being made. The home made tagliatelle is very tasty. We recommend this place highly! My daughter, Who is very picky with food loved the tagliatelle with bolognese sauce.
