An Italian restaurant hidden in the bluestone basement of the State Library of Victoria, beneath the Wheeler Centre. Since 2011, owners Paul and Rosie have served handmade pasta, our signature Thousand Layer Lasagne (beef shin ragù, hot three-cheese mousse) and classic tiramisù, with a wine list that leans Italian and Victorian. Amazing restaurant, food and experience. Intimate setting, friendly staff. The housemade gluten free pasta was the best I’ve had, cooked to perfection. The vodka sauce, wow, I thought I was in heaven, I wanted to lick the bowl. Don’t skip the asparagus entree either, Bellissimo. Grazie mille
