Rí Rá is located in an historic bank building, designed by Boston based Harper & West, that was completed in 1931. The pub opened for the first time in March 1999, and was extended in 2002 with the addition of the Library area. In February 2012, The Whiskey Room opened its doors. As you enter Rí Rá, you can imagine yourself walking through a door that leads you across the pond to experience the best pubs of Ireland. The pub interiors were salvaged and restored in Ireland prior to being shipped to Vermont. We are proud to showcase a unique and genuine Irish pub in the heart of Burlington.

    Lucky was our server and timed the dinner beautifully never rushing us thru courses - including letting us enjoy our drinks first. Love that! We had the swordfish and salmon and will say very best we’ve had in a long time! The food & beverages complimented the Autumn season. Has two wood burning fireplaces in dining room which just screams ambiance! Will be here again in 2027!

    Dinner was absolutely incredible. My husband and I went to the belfry last October on our honeymoon and fell in love with their burgers. We spent the whole year planning a trip back! It was just as delicious as we remembered!!

    The food was outstanding. Well seasoned salmon, generous portion and cooked perfectly. Delicious roasted vegetables. The bread pudding is enough for two and delicious. Coffee with desert wasn’t hot but quickly replaced. The waiters Jake and Susan were friendly and attentive. Scott the manager made sure everyone had what they needed. All in all 5 stars.

    What a wonderful experience. Music on the lake as sun set and a wonderfully prepared meal. Staff were great!
