WELCOME TO BARKLEY'S BARBECUE.OUR FOODThe process starts in our commercial firebox smoker flown in from America. Our hero ingredients are dry-rubbed or marinated, and then cooked “low n’ slow” for up to 18 hours over a blend of wood chips to maximise flavour and emphasise depth.OUR ORIGINSBarkley’s barbecue is a nod to an old pal of ours who grew up in Missouri, USA. His signature rubs and recipes were passed onto us, and now we’re sharing our love of smoked American barbecue to Narellan.

The Dancing Bear is managed by Kristine Tarabine who has cracked the Top 50 Australian bartenders competing in Diageo's world class competition. Just a few popular cocktails include the "Smoked Old Fashioned", "Summer Shenanigans" and our best seller the "Yuzu Sour". All with their own quirks and experience. Bougee bar snacks available: Cheese boards, Cured Meat Plates, Focaccia and Kafta meatballs. All easy to eat and delicious. As we are so close to Olympic park there is many easy access options. We dined at 6pm, table of 11, on a Saturday and the food service was really quick. It was not noisy and the food was good. Everyone in the group commented how generous the portions were and how well the food was cooked. The presentation of the food was appealing. I have eaten there numerous times now and the food has always been consistent.

Staff were brilliant & transparent despite the confusion. We were a group of 6 so the ordering was a little messy, but thankfully able to get it sorted with the QR hiccups. Food was wonderful, drinks & deserts were in a timely manner. Owner even gave the little tackas some sweets afterwards to settle the restless 4YO down. Will happily visit again; thanks so much for having us at your venue!
