Isla was our server. She was incredible. We didn't have long - early dinner as we were going to the theatre, and she just got it. She understood that we needed to be a bit swift with our meals, bu we didn't feel rushed at all. Food was very tasty, the perfect size for our fairly hungry selves and the spicy margarita was REALLY good. I have reviewed many restaurants in my journalism career, and know hard it is to get all elements working together well - ambience, speed of service, acoustics, ratio and size of seats to table, great drinks and bar to accompany and complement the food, not to forget the washrooms (very important for women especially) and GOOD front of house staff. The Ivy in Bournemouth has a difficult location to battle with (in my opinion), but has all the elements nailed. And all thanks to waiting staff like Isla. Give that girl a bonus! Excellent afternoon tea at Careys Manor Hotel. Delicious food, tea, fizz, inventive vegan option. So much to eat that we took away a box of cakes for later! The staff were delightful and could not do enough to make our Afternoon Tea special and memorable.

First ever visit and will definitely return in the future. Food was excellent and service really friendly. Went before attending a show at BIC and booked a table for 6pm.

I would highly recommend the High Street Kitchen and will return. The food is excellent and the overall experience a please. Go.

Food was delicious, service was excellent and the price was very good too Very happy overall, only things were the floors were dirty and the room got very hot in the sunshine.
