Please be sure your party arrives promptly.This old-time watering hole once known as The Clear Water Tavern, catered to the desires of the cattle drovers , a group of professional middlemen who purchased herds of cattle and swine from New England farmers. They would drive animals down post roads to the New York City markets, and sell them “for as good a price as they could get.” Today Old Drovers Inn offers a unique casual dining experience including pub night every Wednesday. Be sure to have a specialty cocktail featured on our cocktail menus. My mother never writes her recipes down. Her name is Iran, and this is her kitchen, carried from Tehran to downtown White Plains. I am Reza Parhizkaran, executive chef and owner, and I cook her recipes here. A MICHELIN Bib Gourmand recipient (2020, 2021, 2022) with a "Very Good" rating from The New York Times (2016), Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar centers on composed spreads and dips, shareable small plates, saffron rice, charcoal-grilled kababs, and slow-simmered stews: layered, aromatic, quietly spiced. Step inside and you'll immediately see the welcoming touches of owner-executive chef Johnney Mersieni. And he will probably be the person to greet you as you enter the dining room.     Came to celebrate an aunt/friends birthday. All the ladies whom were there for the first time were blown away by the excellent food, dessert and of course well crafted cocktails. I’ve frequent to this restaurant so I knew this would be a hit!

    Amazing experience at Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar in White Plains! The service was exceptional, and everyone was so attentive and welcoming. The Kashk Bademjan was my favorite appetizer, and the lamb chops with baghali rice were phenomenal! The owner even stopped by to check on us, which made the experience even more special. Definitely a 10/10!

    Booked a reservation for my mom’s PhD graduation dinner and she loved it. The hostess (I forgot her name sadly) was so kind and accommodating. The food was great and the seating was amazing.
