Tasty, enjoyable food and a beautiful view. Great place for scenic lunch.

This was always one of my favourite restaurants, so I was keen to see if much had changed after the refurb. Safe to say, I needn’t have been concerned. The quality of the food and the outlook across Darling Harbour on a sunny winter day was still as amazing as ever. We had oysters, sourdough and chorizo (have to have the chorizo!) to start, then steaks cooked to perfection for mains. Fries, mash and the bitter greens as sides. Everything was exceptional. Great to have a place like this where you know you can take clients for lunch and get exactly what you need every time. I’ll be back again soon!

We really enjoyed our special dinner at Ecco. The Italian food is of such a high quality, lots of tasty options to choose from. The drinks menu was extensive and the staff were very knowledgeable with wine suggestions. Our waiter, Giuseppe, was extremely kind with superb attention to detail and lots of laughs and smiles. Thank you for a fantastic evening, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

We come for the food as it is always outstanding and generous portions. Service is quick and friendly. Not at all noisy but to be fair the restaurant was not very full as we were there relatively early. Will definitely be going back

My partner and I tried Cafe Del Mar Sydney for the first time, and while we were hoping for a sunset view over the water, it was pouring rain… however, the dinner didn’t disappoint. We started with glasses of Cab Sauv and the à la carte menu of tapas. The salmon tartare was the highlight of our dinner! Great flavors and super fresh fish. We followed that with the chorizo, potatoes, and wagyu beef skewers. Unfortunately our wagyu beef was overcooked, but the bites with the pesto and onion and pepper were nice. Overall ambiance was good; the service excellent, and it was a good dinner. We’ll be back for better weather and that sunset dinner!
