Silver Dove Afternoon Tea is a full service tearoom in Downtown Boston specializing in English style afternoon tea service. The food is a set menu and fixed price consisting of a variety of finger sandwiches, savory canapés, cakes, scones, macarons and other pastries which rotate seasonally.We offer 90 minute reservations for afternoon tea Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are available up to 30 days in advance. For regular reservations, we can accommodate parties of up to 6 people on weekends, or up to 12 people on weekdays. For parties of 7-12 people on weekends, use the large party reservation option (2.5 hour reservation, advance payment required).

    Seaglass is always a favorite for us. Perfect place to eat before a show at Blue Ocean. Great drinks and fabulous food were enjoyed and the gluten free options are welcome, especially the GF butternut squash soup. Wonderful and friendly service despite the early, busy crowd going to the show. Wonderful experience overall.

    This was a fabulous tea and exactly what I wanted it to be. My daughter is not GF, but I am. She said, as a non GF eater, she could not tell anything was GF. The Silver Dove is a beautiful space and a classic afternoon tea. Highly recommend and I will be back

    This is my fourth visit for tea at the silver fountain inn and tea parlor. As always it never disappoints! The hostess makes you feel welcome and it is like having tea in your own home! The ambience is amazing as it is decorated festively and the food is always truly wonderful. Always an enjoyable experience whether you are celebrating an occasion or just want a fun relaxing experience!
