Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar brings Persian and Mediterranean cooking to 80 Mamaroneck Avenue in downtown White Plains. Walk in to white tablecloths and full table service at lunch and dinner. The wine bar pours 235+ wines, 26 by the glass, beside crafted cocktails. The kitchen cooks nearly every dish in olive oil, with a light hand on salt and leaner cuts of meat, from the recipes of executive chef and owner Reza Parhizkaran's mother, Iran, who lives in Tehran. Tuesday to Saturday, sushi is cut to order at the bar. The $35 three-course lunch runs Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and Shiraz Social happy hour is daily, 11:30 AM to 6 PM, at bar seats. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes are marked on the dinner menu. The private room seats 40; full buyouts go up to 180. Shiraz received the MICHELIN Bib Gourmand in 2020, 2021 and 2022 and the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2024 and 2026. Dress code is chic casual. Reserve a table.
