This is an outstanding venue for a relaxing meal - the dining rooms are fabulously high-ceilinged and sumptuous. I ordered the whipped smoked feta with broad beans and sourdough, and my companion had olives and sourdough. The bread arrived with the herb butter literally scraped onto the side of the plate. A quenelle would have made it world-class, but it just looked slap-dash. It made us laugh. Our mains arrived - I had the lobster Mac 'n cheese. Not a sign of lobster in it at all. My friend had the fish which she declared was delicious. We had creme caramel and cheesecake for dessert. The creme caramel was more consistent with the colour and texture of panacotta and the cheesecake was graced with a luminous pink layer of rhubarb jelly - which was rather fun! Our cocktails were gorgeous and the server was excellent. It was just the food that could have been prepared with slightly more finesse, but on the whole, a very, very enjoyable lunch.

Overall excellent, very tasty food and lovely service. My daughter is a coeliac and I was relieved to hear that all but two dishes (starters too) where gluten free. Would definitely go again when. In Sheffield Flo and all the other servers were knowledgeable and very pleasant, all willing to help.

First time here and had a very enjoyable lunch. The service was impeccable with all the servers we encountered being friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the dishes. We opted for the set menu so we could share, I enjoyed my half. Beautifully presented, nicely cooked and timely service. My wife mentioned that she found one of the plates "a little cold" but I had no such problem. The sensitive spicing pleased my palate and I enjoyed the whole meal. Ambience would have scored higher but one lone customer spent his lunchtime literally shouting down his telephone but quietened down after being approached, two of three times, by our servers after we complained. Will certainly revisit to try some of the classic dishes.

The lal Maas was delicious, well layered flavors with a touch of heat. The lamb was fall apart tender. We also ordered the chicken lahori and were very happy with the flavors and spice. We ate all the extra sauce with the garlic naan and coriander paratha. The non-veg sampler platter was the weakest thing we tried but still pretty good.
