This bright and modern neighbourhood Indian restaurant on the Fleet Road, near Hampstead Heath tube, has been serving up classic curries for over 25 years. Fleet Tandoori's rubyred shop front and welcoming interior – with magnolia walls, wooden floors and fresh flowers – is staffed with super-friendly waiters and an expert team in the kitchen who are renowned for their spicy fare. The restaurant is always filled with Hampstead regulars, and popular dishes include the Lamb Shahi Monipuri cooked in a slow tomato, garlic and fresh mint sauce; the cod fish curry steamed in a spicy sauce with fresh herbs; and the Chicken Tikka Masala. The menu is complemented by a wine list featuring French, Spanish and German wines.

Fleet Tandoori, close to Hampstead Heath, is a very friendly and reliable neighbourhood restaurant with an excellent menu that extends beyond Indian staples to speciality regional dishes. There is a particularly good range of fish dishes, including some tasty freshwater fish recipes that are well worth trying. Service is excellent and knowledgeable (always useful with such a wide-ranging menu), surroundings are pleasantly modern and value for money is high. Efficient home delivery service too.

Fleet Tandoori in Belsize Park. Very well presented local Tandoori, food delivered as requested (quickly) and very tasty, exactly what we wanted.

Good value food, especially with the TT offer. The vegetarian thali was awesome, accompanied by a nice glass of wine and a pistachio kulfi. Its a small, modern restaurant, obviously loved by locals, many of whom were greeted by name.

Carluccio's Reading. We went here for my daughter's 16th Birthday. Surprisingly very empty at 7pm but it was a Monday. Service was attentive, but too pushy - we got the impression they wanted us to order as many extras as possible. We enjoyed the food, especially the antipasto which was more than enough for the 3 of us to share. Mains were well cooked. The overall ambience was a bit more like a cafe than a restaurant which was surprising given the price of the meal.

Carluccios, Reading Absolutely fantastic, as always. Great food, friendly service, lovely atmosphere AND the chance to buy some of the ingredients before you leave. I can highly recommend the thick, warm, chocolate..mmmmm
