Booked for lunch before an afternoon in the theatre. Opted for the two dish option at £14.50. I had a terrine starter which was accompanied by a delish chutney. Main courses were well cooked and tasted lovely. Friendly and slick service from the staff

Not great. Went on a Tuesday after bank holiday, so a few of the food items and wine was "sold out", had to return my main course due to the meat being cold. Waiter was though very nice, apologetic and friendly. Overall at best an average pub dining experience, we will not be returning.

Good food at great prices. Good for pre theatre dining. Service was good not to in your face. Would go there again.

Booked at short notice for a pre theatre supper. A pleasant meal without being hurried and finished in good time to get to our seats!

We dined last night here and the food was brilliant... However we felt that he restaurant was a little cramped, as the tables weren't really big enough and they were very close together as the eating area was too small - as you felt you were in the conversations that were going on, on the other tables. I'm afraid that the service wasn't as brilliant as the food... We were expecting more from this restaurant...

Friendly service great food the goats cheese curd was delicious main of broccoli croquettes very tasty and the fish and chips my husband had delicious. Great food good drinks and nice atmosphere.

Great place to meet up with friends, servic was fantastic and the atmosphere was great! We had Sunday lunch, which was really good, great value. Plenty of other options too if you fancied something different.

Everything was good about this place from the service to the ambiance. The only thing that could stand improvement is the food. I tried the stone bass which unfortunately was rather bland. Still, it was decent enough and my partner ordered a veggie dish which was very good. It was an enjoyable place to sit downstairs and chat over a glass of wine after dinner.
