Food was delicious. However the server must have been having a rough night. Salad and soup came out with entrees. Server did not seem familiar with menu as had to come back multiple times to verify what we wanted was on the menu. This place does have a great happy hour.
I had higher expectations for this restaurant especially due to the location in National Harbor. Extremely disappointed in the prices and the value for the food; it was overpriced and just average. The food that we ordered was not as expected (i.e. drunken noodles usually come with a choice of noodles, commonly it's served with thicker noodles, we weren't even asked and received Udon noodles and we asked for medium heat - there was no heat whatsoever...) We you order spicy sushi, you expect spicy, there was not flavor either. The location was very convenient but not worth the money, go elsewhere.
Fun decor, very busy, good food. The waitress wasn't particularly friendly but service was fine. Excellent desserts. Make a reservation. Very popular on weekends.
Restaurant is beautiful- full of bright colors, neat sculpture, Asian decorations and lights. Food was delicious- fun drinks and service was awesome!
Katherine was very friendly and professional dealing with a large crowd of customers the night we were there. Everyone seemed to have their act together. Grace's Mandarin atmosphere is an experience all by itself, so when the food came and it was fantastic, our night was complete. Would recommend it without reservation.
There were ten of us celebrating our son's birthday last Saturday night. Although the restaurant was very crowded, our service was great. We had an incredibly accommodating waiter who even helped with the candles on the cake. Wish I had gotten his name -- he made the evening special for all of us.
Great service. Delicious food
This is easily one of the best restaurants I've been to. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, everyone's meal at our table was flavorful and well plated. The decor is over the top but in a good way. Just a great experience, will come back again.
Great service as always. Thank you for making this restaurant an outstanding place to dine.
Great time for a first visit, we can’t wait to go back!
Parking situation was terrible as there was an event going on. Ended up parking at MGM and took an uber over. Service was very slow, food was above average but not fantastic
We visited 3 times a year every year and service is hit or miss, depending on the waiting staff.
The food is always great. Location and ambiance remains unbeatable.
Delicious sea bass! My husband raves about the Korean seafood soup
The food here is great!! I would definitely go back worth my $200+ bill!
I reserved 2 seats for Grace's Mandarin for Valentines Day for myself and wife. When we got there we were surprised to find out that the upper level was only available to those that paid a special price ($75) because of Valentines Day. We had to sit in the bar section on the lower level, with the distraction of sports on the TVs. The ambiance of a romantic night was certainly lost on me.
Other than that distraction, the food was very good and the service was excellent as always. We go to Grace's Mandarin quite often and think of this restaurant and our "go to place." As a matter of fact I mentioned Grace's Mandarin to one of my colleagues and low and behold she showed up as my wife and I were departing.
Not enough food for the money that was demanded on that day
Food was pretty good but not even close to the price point that was paid. Service was nice and friendly. Wouldn't go back just because the cost I could go to a higher end place, with better food and still save money
Both the food and service was remarkable. We spent a very, romantic evening for Valentines Day. And while they were packed, they still were able to provide quick, and personal service. Definitely will be returning.
It was lovely
Wonderful place great food good service definitely great spot for a date night!
The food was delicious and the service was great but was not happy with the table. It was a squeezed.
Overall, Grace's was a fantastic choice for a Galentine's Dinner. We had a large party of 8 which was a bit overwhelming for the server. The food did arrive lukewarm which was disappointing. However, the ambiance of the restaurant was nice and I was able to make a reservation on open table.
Very nice place. Food was good. Spent time with family enjoying Chinese New Year.
The place is beautiful, a definite must see. As far as the food!! So not good and extremely over priced. I actually got sick on the drive home and I barely ate anything. So... 1 appetizer, 1 meal, 50$ later, not including tip and parking.... I had to go home and actually have dinner. Big thumbs down.
Overall this restaurant was very nice. The hostess was a little rude, not friendly at all, but the waitress was very engaging. Our food was good overall. We didn’t have to wait too long. My salmon was a bit over cooked. Everyone else in our party enjoyed their meals.
Really great service. A highly functioning staff that works well together.
Graces is 1 of my favorite restaurants. Everything was great! Our server was the only problem. He never came back to check on my party. When I asked him what happened he said he has to many tables. That’s horrible customer service!!!!
We sat on the third floor, the walk up the stairs featured a water wall that we both agreed was a nice touch. The Asian motif was nice, lots of red and many Asian pieces throughout. The view from the third floor isn’t anything exciting, it’s basically a view of the 2nd floor, but still nice.
The appetizer was crab wontons. They were tasty but had a sauce all over them that made them flimsy and took away that crisp you want in a wonton. They were also luke warm (this is a theme).
The main course food was basically Panda Express for 4-5x the price. I had the fried beef, which was supposed to be spicy and wasn’t even remotely spicy even worse it was cold. The waitress brought me some pepper flakes in oil and that barely helped but was better than without. We shared the green beans, wonderful taste, but cold.
My date had a honey shrimp dish which she seemed to like but also felt as though it was cold and had been sitting for a while. We both had a piping hot serving of rice.
We had hot green tea with honey which I thought was excellent and it seemed like the little pot was always full.
I think this place is supposed to be a romantic setting, and it was, sort of. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive but cold food is unforgivable. I’m afraid for the price it’s not really worth it to see if it was one bad experience.
Excellent Service. The Waitress was kind and the food was amazing!
It was my sons birthday. He wanted to come to your restaurant because he loves the food and the ambience. We had a lovely time. Thank you very much.
I've been to Grace's many times, tonight however was not the best. We were seated right away which was great, however the waiter took a very long time to come greet us. Never asked us if we wanted to started with drinks, had to ask for drinks on our own. She was not attentive to us at all. It was very busy tonight. The other times I've been has always been during the week for dinner. I think I will stick to that vs the weekend. Food was delicious though.
Everything was great we had a wonderful dinner with the reservation we were seated right away and the food was delicious my wife really loved the Brussel sprouts and the sushi sliders were great. We will definitely be coming back
Food was bland.
The entrees was served quickly after our appetizers and then very slow for dessert. Felt rushed and then forgotten.
Seemed like it was trying to be a 5 star restaurant but serving food with less quality than a chain restaurant (PFChangs)
Good food. I’m a regular
This is the second time I visited Grace's Mandarin for a business lunch. Every time the seating was excellent complete with great views of the National Harbor. The wait staff are very attentive and accommodating based on our needs and you are greeted with hot seated towels as you sit down. Fresh fruit infused water is brought table side and teas can be ordered. The lunch menu offers a number of options and the food is presented very well and ingredients are always fresh. I enjoy dining there for lunch and look forward to an opportunity to dine there for dinner to view the harbor at night.
That’s a qualified Yes. This is one of those areas with limited options. this particular location has a very nice harbour view and I’d recommend making a reservation or request it to make the meal even more enjoyable. The food is good and prepared well. However, for the reasons mentioned, it’s relatively expensive for this type of asian food.
First class as always.
We always dine at Grace’s when we’re in the National Harbor. Good food in a nice setting.
The service and atmosphere are awesome! The food is pretty good as well!
