Excellent food service and atmosphere
Went for our parents anniversary. Been here before the décor is beautiful for the holidays.
Great food and ambiance
Everything was excellent, will certainly visit again!!
I ordered the crispy beef because I read so many great reviews. It wasn’t for me, so I ordered something different on the menu.
There were alot of children and a large loud party there so, it was difficult to enjoy. Food was great as usual.
Great place. Sushi was excellent. I wish I tried more. Left stuffed. They were very observant of my date's shellfish allergy. It was a little pricey, but well worth it. Also, prices are to be expected at National Harbor.
Drinks were good.
Crispy beef was terrific!
Awful food and over priced. I ordered the Korean Soup and it was basic chicken broth with seafood in it. The crabmeat stuffed avocado appetizer looked like the fake crabmeat you can get at the grocery store. For my entire, I ordered the sizzling filet mignon. What arrived were small chunks of mystery meat- NOT filet- tough and with absolutely zero flavor. It was the first time I had steak that tasted like it was steamed or boiled, frozen, defrosted and bad. The replaced this with their “lamb rack”. It wasn’t as advertised- not a rack, but several skinny lamb chops across the sizzling plate. It also was tasteless, cooking was completely uneven, no proper seasoning. I think all the other reviews are fake, paid reviews. This was the worst food I have had in a very long time.
Wholly unimpressed. The worst of fusion. Heavy goopy sauces. Overly fried foods. Beef tenderloin was a much lesser cut.
Awesome gluten free option! Very accommodating!
All in all it was an awesome experience. The only problem I had was our first waiter was a little pushy after we told him it was our first time there. We asked him for more time so we could make our decision twice and the next time someone came back but it was another waiter. It seemed as if he didn't want to be bothered cause we weren't moving on his time. I was a waiter when I was younger so I know the importance of quick table turnover but I do not like to be rushed into placing my order and then I get the wrong thing only to end up being unsatisfied. Other than that I give 5 stars all around. Well done.
Very nice good food good service
Overall it was a great experience. The room/table was a little too dark for me at times. I could barely read the menu due to the lighting. However once the food arrived the lighting felt appropriate. There were many children in there and at times it pretty loud in there. Not that I have a problem with small children, as I have two of my own but they weren’t with me that night, I was just a little surprised to see so many out so late. Anyway, I will definitely return.
Waitress was completely inattentive, never came back after taking our orders, so we finally had to flag down a manager after the appetizer and the dinner courses to order another glass of wine. She did not even stop when dropping off the glass of wine. The food, ambiance, and atmosphere were AMAZING though. Will be back, will just request another waitress if we get the same one.
Most enjoyable ...everything was absolutely delicious. Fabulous staff .....we'll be back !
We indicated on Open Table that we were celebrating our anniversary. The staff noted this, gave us token gifts, and treated us to complimentary drinks. Thoughtful touches that helped to make for a memorable occasion.
Had lunch with a friend. Excellent service. Given seat by window on second floor overlooking Potomac with great views. Ask for this seating since better than on ground floor.
Family in town
It was a wonderful experience. My server was amazing and the special treatment for my birthday was everything I could have asked for. The food was so good.
Amazing place in the National Harbor area. Hostess that welcomed us was so great and our server was fantastic. The ambiance is top notch and my Crispy beef and xo shrimp were delicious.
Food was fantastic! Staff was attentive and courteous. Highly recommend.
Thanksgiving!! So good!!
The service was exceptional.
I had a great time at the restaurant! The food, service and atmosphere were really great. The wait staff was attentive, friendly and very helpful. I plan to take all of my out of town visitors to eat there.
Everything was delicious !
I think it could have a little more lighting, especially around dusk... maybe on the tables
This place has gone steadily downhill each time I come. Overpriced for what you get. Used to be amazing but I’m giving up now.
It was amazing! I went there for happy hour weeks ago but I wanted to try and make a reservation for dinner and see what the difference was. Honestly it's a big difference from being in the happy hour section. When you come in, if you have a purse there's a little chair for your purse so you don't put it on the ground. The server gives you hot towels before and after your meal to clean your hands, and they even cover your coat if you want if it's hanging on the back your seat. As far as the food is was delicious! My boyfriend had the Indonesian rice it was served in a cut up pineapple and I had the Mango Salmon Tempura. It was really good! It was sweet, and crunchy with a side of white rice. I would definitely recommend this place and come back.
We were celebrating a friend’s birthday. We had several people to decline on the day of. The restaurant was very accommodating. Although I thought I reserved for 6 people, some how I reserved for 8. This was the first mistake that the staff changed. Next while we were waiting, another guest sent a text that they couldn’t make it. For the restaurant staff, no problem with a smile. The most important thing the staff did was to change our seating from being in the isle to a table on the 3rd level out of the way. Thank you. The food was great and to top off the Celebration, the restaurant presented the birthday girl with a gift. Don’t forget the dessert-yum yum
My daughter and I enjoyed our second visit to Grace’s at National Harbor on 11/17/18 after experiencing the Charlie Brown Christmas Ice Spectacle at the Gaylord National Hotel. It was a quiet Saturday and we were seated on the third level, a loft or balcony with seating overlooking the larger second floor dining level which had been reserved for a special occasion. The two top at which we were seated was somewhat cramped but enabled a view through the ceiling to floor windows of the pretty Fall panorama of the Potomac River. Our server was delightful, funny, friendly and very well informed about the menu. We loved the crunchy spring rolls with the sweet yet spicy mustard sauce and the unusual little cones stuffed with tuna sashimi. Delicious! I sipped a nice Pinot noir at $14 a glass as I’m not fond of sake. My daughter choose a shrimp rice dish that was served in a lovely hollowed pineapple while I had the whole fried rockfish over vegetables that resembled a work of art as the fish was arranged in very lifelike curved formation on the plate. Bathrooms are ornate, elegant and sparkling clean. The price is competitive with other fine dining venues. Expect great service and relish the gorgeous atmosphere.
It was alright. The ambience was the best part. Food was alright and our server wasn’t very attentive to anything. We had made reservations for a party of 7-8 people including two children on a Friday evening. We had good seating. We had been there before last year in a much larger group for my 30th birthday. The drunken noodles were quite minimal in quantity and really not tasteful. We won’t be coming back. For the amount of money spent there are plenty of other options.
Me and my friends had a great time! Bartender was fabulous! And food was hot and seasoned well. Definitely professional staff who was very knowledgeable about the menu
We frequented Grace's Fortune in Bowie for Chinese Food we loved for many years when we lived there. We have wanted to visit Grace's Mandarin for years, but just never were able to get to National Harbor. Well now that we have, we are going to go out of our way to stop in every time we can. All I can say is wow, wow, wow! Our dishes were the tastiest, most interesting, we have ever had.
My experience here was amazing! Before the entree, I tried some shrimp sashimi. Fresh, fresh, fresh. I think the price is a little high for only three pieces and they don't come rolled atop rice as I have gotten it from other places. I wanted to just see what they had to offer, and overall i was satisfied. I started off with the signature lump crab cakes which were some of the best crab cakes around. I always say if I like the crab cakes, I can venture into other parts of the menu. The crab cakes were broiled & the taste was vibrant! Aside it was some asparagus that was fresh and crisp to the taste. Fresh crunch in them as I like my vegetables. I also ordered the lamb chops which was laid on top of vermicelli and halved small tomatoes. The season from the lamb chops and the oils they used were great. I will always recommend the chops. Even more to the experience, I had the Singapore rice noodles which were also rich in flavor. The portion was so much that even after two people had a plate full I was able to take some home for later.
I thoroughly enjoyed each and everything I was served.
The food in my opinion, didn't miss on any dish.
Crispy Beef was exceptional and spare ribs were as good as they get.Not bashful on the price, but you get what you pay for.
Service was excellent, small touches like hot towels before and after dinner were much appreciated. Attentive and knowledgeable waiter who was there only when needed otherwise left us to enjoy dinner. Food was very good, a bit pricey but better than would was available at the nearby hotels. Nice decor from the table to the bathroom, all in all a fun experience.
Lots of options here. Perhaps I ordered the wrong things but after almost finishing my meal, I started to feel a little sick. Also fairly overpriced for what you get.
I think they over book as there was a log jam of patrons waiting but they did seat us in a reasonable time 15
minutes after stated reservation
