Staff were lovely, our server John was funny and great with my 10yo kiddo. I don’t think they had enough staff on though, as drinks came slowly and in fits and starts. Our main course came out before our starters were cleared which wasn’t a huge issue but it meant no breathing time between courses. Hard rock is reliable for decent food and a fun eating experience. We’ll be back!

Very loud music, even for a hard rock café. Service was completely out of sync - before we had finished the mains they wanted us to order dessert and we politely said we wanted to do that when we had finished the mains which they said was ok. Once finished nothing happened so we asked for the dessert menu again and was told that yes, of course. 10 minutes later we ask again, being told the same thing. 10 minutes after that I just asked for the bill instead and that arrived promptly.. with tip already pre-added. Will not go back to Hard Rock Café Edinburgh and I recommend others to avoid it as well. Very poor experience.

We booked to eat prior to a show. We waited along time to order when food came we were not asked for drink refills. No one came back to the table to check on us and we had to stop a waiter to ask for drinks. There were many empty tables around us so the restaurant was not overwhelming busy. We had to ask for a bill as no one came to clear plates or offer a desert menu. The bill came and we had to sit a further 10 mins for a card machine to arrive. We missed our show. The food was nothing to write home about. My husbands chicken was very tough. Disappointing visit and will be a last time we attend Edinburgh Hard Rock.

Had an early evening meal here prior to the Edinburgh Tattoo. It was busy but didn’t feel crowed. I love the music but it was a bit loud so you can’t hear each other! The food was lovely even a bit large, apart from the Messi burger! This did not match up to the photo I think it’s a bit disappointing to be honest. And £2 for an egg! That would make it £12 for half a dozen 😂 Outrageously expensive. The food is always served quickly and the staff are great.

Good food but husband thought his burgers could have been a bit bigger. My fried chicken sandwich was very tasty as were our order of onion rings. Enjoyed the cocktails, especially the purple haze. They need a passion fruit martini on the menu though. Good experience so will be back.

Great visit to HRC Edinburgh today. Lovely woman at the front door changed our booking to get us in a wee bit early. :-) Our waiter, John, was great and the food was lovely. Was also great to be able to hear the music but not be shouting over it. Lovely visit.

Delightful and attentive staff. Well presented and excellent tasting food with decent size portions. Ambiance novel and exhilarating. My ten year old loved it but didn’t recognise any of the artists pictures. Dad knew them all and was in his element. Overall a lovely family experience.
