For years, always outstanding! The service and food is forever top class. The peaceful environment and attentive service is always exemplary with many food choices available at under $40. Easy access from car to door for handicapped diners.

Superb food and excellent service. I got the prime rib steak and my friend got the filet mignon. Both were cooked to perfection. Dessert was wonderful, too!!

For Anchorage, this is a decent 4-star restaurant. The halibut and rockfish were good - halibut was moist and rockfish was nicely crusted. The house salad and beet salad were tasty enough, but presentation was uninspiring and disappointing. Moose’s Tooth salads are better in taste, serving size, and presentation. The complimentary bread that arrived first could have set a better tone for the meal from the start had it been warmed and slightly toasted; instead it was cold. I might come back for the almond crusted rockfish but probably nothing else.

Overall great experience and fantastic food. This was our first experience dining at Jens despite having lived here most our lives. Will absolutely come back.

An Unforgettable Fine-Dining Masterclass at Jens' Restaurant⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 If you want to experience the absolute pinnacle of hospitality and culinary excellence in Anchorage, look no further than Jens' Restaurant. We arrived with absolutely no notice, yet the staff accommodated us effortlessly, setting the stage for what would be a truly spectacular evening. I brought the East High School Orchestra Director as my guest for her very first visit, and Jens' blew her away. The Service: Masterful Hospitality Our server, Loni, was a complete master of his craft. From the moment we sat down, he anticipated our every need and didn’t miss a single beat all night. He immediately started us off flawlessly by bringing out a perfectly chilled bottle of Red Moscato on ice, accompanied by warm, fresh bread and butter. Exceptional service can make or break fine dining, and Loni elevated our entire night into a memorable experience. The Appetizers & Entrées -The food was nothing short of superb, seamlessly blending rich European flavors with incredible execution: The Calamari: Exceptionally tender and uniquely prepared—a must-order. Danish Meatballs (Frikadeller): Authentic, deeply savory, and packed with comfort. Onion-Crusted Rockfish: Flaky, fresh, and perfectly textured. Filet Mignon: Outstanding, cooked to absolute perfection, and incredibly tender. The Finale Though we barely had any room left, we couldn’t resist dessert—and thank goodness we didn't. We finished the night with a flawlessly caramelized crème brûlée topped with fresh strawberry and a rich, comforting bread pudding. It was the perfect sweet ending to an flawless meal. The Verdict: Between Loni's masterful service, the accommodating front-of-house team, and the world-class kitchen, Jens' Restaurant proved exactly why it is an enduring Anchorage gem. We will absolutely be back!

Our evening at Jens' was fabulous, but that is nothing new. The service is exceptional and the food delicious - with portion sizes that fill you, yet still allow for taking some home so that the meal can be enjoyed again. We joined friends who were celebrating a milestone and it was the perfect atmosphere for it. Our wonderful wait staff was more than willing to snap pictures for us so that we could have a tangible memory of the evening. I appreciate the variety of the menu - the celery root soup was divine and my rockfish cooked to perfection. My husband and I are already looking forward to our next meal!

Great menu, friendly staff. If there is a downside it’s that the restaurant is in a strip mall. But, sometimes the best ones are.
