Celebrated my 85th Birthday dining on....Saganaki w/pita. Lamb Chops w/greek salad .... Birthday treat w/candle. After dinner drinks in cocktail lounge. Excellent Saturday night.

So I really like Jimmy’s Charhouse. The chopsteak is always on point. My wife gets it regularly. I really like the chicken kebabs but they call it something else. Always get two meals out of my order. Their Greek lemon soup is very good and I like their Greek dressing. Note if you’re not a fan of anchovies, don’t get the Greek dressing. Prices are on point and the service is always great. The waitress we had this last time was the best! Stop in… You will not be disappointed!

Jimmy’s Charhouse with 2 other friends. We had a great time! Our server, Rob, was attentive and answered questions that we had regarding food choices and was very nice. 2 of us ordered the grilled pork chop and 2 grilled lamb chops & they were delicious!!The sauce on them was very tasty. The 3rd person ordered London Broil and said it was very good also. We shared an outstanding tiramisu, that was about 5-6 “ tall, and it was a generous size and the best tiramisu that I have tasted. Highly recommend Jimmy’s Charhouse for great service and great food. And the atmosphere is cozy and rustic. 💕

Arrived at time of reservation, seated immediately, wait staff was attentive and honored our requests during our dining experience. Food was delivered in a timely manner and cooked to our expectation. Overall a good experience.

We live near Harvard and our best friends in Downers Grove. Jimmy's is our mid-way go-to for dinners. East on/off of Expressway 90 at Randall Rd, we appreciate the location as well as the terrific food and our server Debbie is absolutely top of the heap!! Ribs are not alway consistent, but usually very good. The Short Ribs are fantastic and steaks are right up there. Good selection of wines and drinks. We go every six weeks or so.

My wife had surf and turf and I had the top sirloin steak. We started with an appetizer of Mediterranean shrimp. All were excellent. I also had the baked onion soup which I always get because they do it just the way I like it. Jimmys is our go to place to eat when we feel like eating out. We usually get the same items because we like it so much.

Overall, service was great but food was lacking in flavor. Especially the shrimp pasta special. The sauce was thin and the pasta was too al’dente for my liking. One of my guests had the fettuccine alfredo and found the sauce a bit “off” in flavor.
