The food was fresh and modern. Beautiful plating. We shared scallops, octopus salad and watermelon salad for apps. All were amazing. For the main course we had bone-in pork chop, Wagyu beef, Kampachi. All were amazing. Our waiter was delightful. Definitely recommend Ka’ana.

We're regular diners here and have previously always had a nice experience. Our food was great as always but our service as well as other diners was never this slow. The menu prices have increased which is understandable but now there is also an 18% service fee separate from the tip which made the experience a poor value. I doubt that we will ever return which makes us sad.

Let’s start with the positives. The restaurant has a nice chill vibe. Service was very good. Here’s the issue, it’s really overpriced and underwhelming. We had the Maui fish of the day and it was just a piece of Mahi Mahi. The fish really could use some seasoning. Yes, I’m sure it’s fresh but for $55.00, there needs to be some better sides and better flavor. This isn’t some high quality salmon or sea bass, it’s Mahi Mahi. $9.00 for lemonade? I get it, it’s Maui but the food overall left me very unimpressed.

We went to celebrate my wife’s retirement and couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire experience being with the personable valet. The hostess greeted my wife and congratulated her. Our waiter was extraordinary. They also gifted my wife with a lei and a congratulatory dessert. The food was excellent and our waiter spectacular. We enjoyed a colorful sunset and listened to the live music playing at the outdoor bar below. Very good experience in every way!

I’ve eaten here many times. It’s great food. Love the octopus salad and the clams appetizer. Great flavor. The Green Goddess drink with gin is my favorite. The kampachi with gnocchi was one of the best meals on the island! Love it! The atmosphere is beautiful and not loud.

Tasteless food. Will not go again. Ordered Mahi Mahi on black lentils. The food did not have any seasoning or flavor to it. For the price it's not worth eating there.

We are locals who celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. Food took a while to come out (entrées); sat overlooking the pool with a view of dirty dishes and people’s hotel room balconies adjacent. Not super romantic honestly. I would come here for a business dinner or brunch with the girlfriends, not a sexy date night.

Pros: Beautiful views, great to catch a sunset. Clean and modern. Nice ambience. Cons: I didn’t find the food to be very good, didn’t taste fresh to me, uninspired dishes. Expensive for the quality.

We had a large party for dinner. The sever, Chris, was amazingly knowledgeable. He was attentive and engaging. The food was excellent. I had the Ahi and it was the best I ever had. I highly recommend this place.

The food here is exceptional, as is the service. This is a truly elevated experience in a casual atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating to appreciate the view and the breezes. Trust that whatever you order will have wonderful flavor, the freshest ingredients, and is presented in a beautiful way. Much thought and care goes into each dish. We had a wonderful evening here!

Amazing hospitality from our server Dave! He greeted us at the table with champagne because we were celebrating a birthday. Dave was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions. The snapper and ahi entrees were perfection. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, the flavors were amazing. The watermelon salad was quite refreshing and made a perfect pallet cleanser between appetizers and entrees. Dessert was fabulous as well. The entire staff took great care of us and I have to say this was one of the best dining experiences I have had on Maui.

My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and our whale watching excursion got canceled but were pleasantly surprised by the hidden gem that is Ka’ana. Our experience there was superb, not only was the view beautiful, the waiters and staff were really on top of it, especially Wiley who really took care of us. If you’re looking for some good food, beautiful views and great service, then look no further than ka’ana.

The restaurant had the typical modern ambience of a resort hotel restaurant, which is ok, but we really enjoyed sitting near the open kitchen, watching the chefs in action. The meals were excellent and our server was friendly and attentive. The menu was limited but our the appetizers and meals were delicious. I ordered the watermelon salad and butternut squash risotto (which was an odd choice on a tropical island) but it was excellent.

We were the last sitting for Easter brunch. Buffet was picked over and they clearly didn’t want to replenish it. Vegetarian options very very limited and did not match menu offering (no veggie dumplings).

Our family dinner was just OK. The food took a long time to come out so the kids got really restless waiting. The food was pretty good but we had better dinners elsewhere on our trip. I would not eat here again given so many other better options close by.
