   La carta era un poco lío. Nos costó entender y saber que queríamos. La calidad de la comida buena, compartimos entre dos. El sitio es algo viejo pero el servicio es bueno. Si queréis salir del paso bien pero no es nada espectacular

   We started with the margarita flight and the Moscow mule. Both were a 10/10. Next we ordered the calamari. I would rate that a 2/10 but only because of the dipping sauce. The calamari itself was over cooked and almost inedible which was a turn off for a sushi/seafood/steakhouse. I originally wanted the fish and chips listed on their printed menu only to be told by our waitress (who was amazing btw) that they haven’t had that in a while and she didn’t know why it was on the menu. Needless to say…disappointed. I decided on the French dip and I subbed chips for fries. My husband got the Korean 5 spice rub ribs. My 3 year old daughter had the cutest little kids bento box with grilled chicken, Mac and cheese, sweet potato fries and a bear shaped orange. Everything was well seasoned and tasty. The ribs came with this slaw with a little heat kick and lime which was an unexpected nice touch. Our daughter gave the food a 10/10. My husband gave his meal a 2/10 (dry ribs..). I would have to say for me it’s a 5/10. Overall the service was phenomenal and we would come back for brunch or happy hour to try other options.

   Our server Manny was very nice and tried hard. We ordered a beer and a margaritta. 20minutes to receive drinks and we were the only patrons drinking in the entire establishment? We went for Sunday brunch and were one of five patrons in the restaurant. I can't imagine going for happy hour? Open table offered a generous additional 500 points for dining at Kona Grill during brunch. I am sure when Kona first opened it was a happening restaurant but not any longer. The additional points are probably neededto lure follks back. Food is okay. Vegetarian options. Staff is nice and plentyful but slow (kitchen and bar). Especially the bar. If you are ordering sushi it seems to be prepared quickly.

   For the cost of every item on the menu, there most definitely should not be holes in every bathroom stall door filled with toilet paper. The server did her best with the amount of tables she was given and we do not fault her for that. Unfortunately, because of how short staffed the restaurant is and how many tables each server has, we were at the restaurant for over 2.5 hours. We only ordered 1 starter, 2 meals, and 2 sodas. All of which we ordered all at once the first time the server came to the table. We only received our first and only refills in to-go cups as we were paying the bill. Apparently there is a dish on the menu the restaurant doesn't actually prepare? The server apparently learned after taking our order to the chef that the menus were new and the "fish & chips" option wasn't actually supposed to be on the menu? We had 2 code gift cards and 1 couldn't be redeemed for unknown reasons. Not a big deal, but another added frustration to the experience. This was our first time visiting and ,sadly, most likely our last.

   The tomato basil soup was fantastic. Service was a little slow, but our server had a lot of big parties since it was right after a graduation ceremony. Overall, if I'm back in the area, I would certainly go to the place again.

    So much went bad with this that I don’t even have time to type it but essentially everybody was getting up and leaving because a Kitchen was over an hour backed up. We couldn’t order any hot food because that would even be longer. We just ended up leaving… We tried to pay for our cup of tea that we had but they just let us go because they also knew that the service was horrible and that they just were just defeated.  I actually felt bad for the wait staff, but there was nothing that they can do, but acknowledge the issues.  They literally should’ve shut down the restaurant for the night.

    We were told they were short staffed and had to wait almost 45min after our reservation time to even be seated. Once seated, it took another 20min to place a drink order. At that time we also put in for appetizers—45min later our food still had not arrived, so we left the restaurant. We didn’t get to try the food; but wasted quite a bit of time with a disabled patron with us.

    I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!! MY HUSBAND MADE RESERVATIONS FOR MOTHERS DAY AT 2:45pm. WHEN WE ARRIVED THEY SAID IT WOULD BE AN HALF AN HOUR WAIT TO BE SEATED. OKAY, A HALF AN HOUR WENT BY, WE WENT TO CHECK IN THEY SAID 15 MORE MINS, ANOTHER 25 MINS WE WENT TO CHECK. STILL HAD TO WAIT!! IT WAS 4:10 WHEN THEY SAID THE TABLE WAS READY BUT IT WOULD STILL BE AN HOUR BEFORE WE ATE BECAUSE THE CHEFS ARE VERY BACKED UP. ME, MY MOTHER,SISTER,HUSBAND, AND FOUR YEAR OLD WERE STARVING AT THAT POINT!!! SO WE LEFT AND THANK GOODNESS ANOTHER RESTAURANT WAS ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE US RIGHT AWAY! OUR MOTHER’S DAY WAS ALMOST RUINED BECAUSE OF THIS PLACE! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NO ONE JUST TO STARVE AND BE DISAPPOINTED WAITING FOR HOURS!

    We had a reservation and were seated at 1pm. The waiter took our order around 1:05 pm.We waited for two hours and never got food. Cold bread, melted butter and no drink refills for two hours. Worst dining experience of 2023

    This restaurant was drowning on Mother’s Day and their excuse was that the kitchen was backed up. They did not set reasonable time expectations or inform the customer that this was the in case until they were seated. Our reservation was for 1:30 and we weren’t seated until 2:15. And then we were told we missed brunch because it was after 2:00. It took 3 HOURS for us to get our food!! We weren’t offered bread while we waited or for our drinks or appetizers to be compensated since all the food came out at one time. Our server’s shift was done before we left so no one was responsible for our table after they left. The open table note said that their garage was closed and to the Hyatt garage and validation would be provided. It was NOT!! It was a very unfortunate dinning experience.

    They were flooded with reservations, over 1000 to be filled on Mother’s Day. Their chefs quit so we were there for over 4 hours starving with only drinks and a horribly dirty and broken restroom. They should not be open period.

    The waiter was HORRIBLE! Tall bald head guy who works at the bar. Never checked on us to see if we need anything. It took an hour to get our food, once we got the food they brought out my sausage 20 minutes before i got the rest of my food. When my food finally came the food was horrible they had to take it back. And then told me it’s was going be another hour for something else..

    I made reservations for mother’s day and I thought it would go as planned but it didn’t. My reservation was 12:15 pm we were seated by 1 pm. After being seated we were ready to order and the food didn’t come after waiting two hours. We only had something to drink and an appetizer but that wasn’t enough. I had to reschedule something I had planned after brunch. Due to us still waiting and still no food we had left to eat at a fast food restaurant. We had a baby and child with us who didn’t get to eat as well this was unacceptable. My mom is a diabetic she didn’t eat all morning, we all saved our appetite but didn’t expect to be waiting for food that long. I just wish it went as planned I picked this place. I had heard good things about this place and made an hour drive to enjoy the experience but didn’t.

    The food was good and our waitress was very sweet and accommodating. The menu has good variety and we enjoyed a variety of items in our party - sushi, sandwiches, brunch, etc. The staff was a bit overwhelmed on Mother's Day. We had a reservation for a large group - they weren't ready for us on arrival and there were some issues like missing silverware. They worked to get us drink refills quickly and accommodated our food needs after a bit of a wait. The food was very good and we appreciate the staff working hard to serve us.

    Maddeningly slow service (took 30 min to get an iced tea when the restaurant was nearly empty), inedible food (for $8 4 strips of microwaved desiccated chicken added to a bland salad for a grand total of $26), dirty tables, unjustifiable prices. Go anywhere else!

    We had a reservation for 6:30, we were not seated until 7pm. Our food took forever too arrive and our waitress took forever to bring our check. We mentioned we were in a hurry as we were seeing a show at the hippodrome at 8pm. Our server was not friendly at all. We were very disappointed with our visit and will find someplace else to eat in the future when going to the Hippodrome

    They were swamped due to an event taking place in the city but the service was slow and horrible- not teamwork to get stuff out. Took 20-30 min for just drinks. Thank god you could check out using the monitor on the table or we may have been waiting a while. The food is good- love Hawaiian flare. The drinks were good, too. I think any other time it would’ve been a great dinner but they couldn’t handle the rush. The bathrooms were also in rough shape.

    Good food and fantastic service. Went before a concert at CFG which may be why it was so packed. Our waiter was amazing and attentive despite it being as busy. service was prompt, attentive, and courteous.

    Clearly understaffed. Took over an hour to get our food despite you offering a 45 min lunch option. Your staff was clearly overwhelmed and our waitress tried her best, but even she was distraught at how slow everything was. And how overwhelmed she was due to having entirely too many tables

    The fish & beef sliders were ok. The accompanying salad & fries were subpar & soggy. 5 spice ribs were hard and slathered in a sauce. The place has really gone down. Been here at least 4 times before.

    The host told us that at the moment they only accepted reservations, the restaurant was empty. That's not a desire to do business. Three groups of people left for the same thing in a period of 10 minutes.
