La Campagna - Morristown
Food was good, but the service made for a poor experience. Servers and bus help reached across the table to serve and clear when it was not necessary. A complimentary appetizer was served and within 3 minutes the ordered appetizers were served and there was little room on the table for both. Should have held off the ordered appetizers for a chance to enjoy the others. Overall the service was really bad. Will probably not go back.
Food was wonderful. Great parking available.
From appetizer to dessert it was fabulous.....
Service was a little slow and it wasn’t crowded. Food was ok. Some dishes were very good and Sone were disappointing. Osso Bucco was very tough. Tiramisu was flat and watery. Stuffed chicken and portobello mushroom were very good.
My husband and I recently found this restaurant and love it. It’s very laid back with a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The food is delicious. I highly recommend this place.
Only 1 server with an assistant for the entire dining room
Food was better than average Ladt time as well, difficult to pay as they were short staffed then
Always good food and excellent service
My husband & I went there to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary and first visit to LaCampagna. We had great seating that we met new friends, including a couple who lives near us. The restaurant had an on-going crowd, food was delicious, service wasn't rushed, pricing good. We will be returning customers and highly recommend it.
Wonderful neighborhood authentic Italian in downtown. The Scallops with Risotto were amazing. BYOB.
Very consistent and BYO is so nice !!
We didn't know what to expect but we were a party of 4 planning to talk all night and we were not bothered at all! Food was fantastic (pork, veal, chicken, calamari, clams casino...) and service was great. BYO is a plus and you definitely need a reservation over the weekend.
Birthday - fun
Food and service always superb. The fact that it is a BYOB makes it a good value too!
Food and atmosphere was amazing. Best Italian food in the area. Highly recommend!
I always enjoy dinner at LaCampagna whenever I have friends in town, I particularly like the low key environment and authentic Italian atmosphere.
Food is always very good. Service was not good, and there were only a handful of tables.
People should start to understand that this restaurant is very underrated. It is simply one of the best in Morristown. Slightly off the center of town it is far better than the chain restaurants in town center.
Great Italian restaurant with really good service, nice atmosphere and great food. Didn’t rush us and really like the BYOB...will definitely be back.
We went to La Campagna for a pre show dinner. This was our first visit here and we will definitely come back. It was wonderful! The food was delicious and the service was great, plus it’s a short walk to the MPAC. Highly recommended and it’s BYOB
There were so many fantastic options on the menu, it made it difficult to choose. We liked being able to bring our own bottle of wine.
Food was excellent, as was the service.
The staff is always very pleasant, food is consistently good and its BYO. We have been coming here on our own and with friends for years. I always recommend this to my friends.
We are never disappointed in our experience! Always looking forward to our next visit!
Love this place! I’ve never had a bad dish. Wonderful complimentary appetizer with excellent cheese and fabulous zucchini and a little brushetta.. Super tender calamari. Shrimp are always jumbo and delicious.
Looking forward to the next time. BYOB
Authentic food and atmosphere with a creative menu
La Campagna never disappoints! The eggplant rollatini is the best anywhere and my Grilled Shrimp dish was delicious. BYOB and some delicious gelato to finish the meal - what could be better than that! This is why LC is our "go to" Morristown restaurant!
Pre show dinner
What a wonderful restaurant, with delicious food, great atmosphere, attentive staff, and a BYOB experience. Everything we tried was great and was brought out to the table in a perfectly timed fashion.
The restaurant was not what I read in the on line reviews. I made the reservation for a group of 8 and felt disappointed that it did not reach my expectations. I think my friends expected something better.
BYOB was unknown. Split checks were “not possible” according to wait staff. Difficult to deal with wait staff overall.
We come here often and especially love the veal parm. I had the carpaccio for an appetizer which is usually served with arugula. This time it has baby greens on it which I did not care for. It was way too much lettuce and not enough carpaccio. It was very salty too., Otherwise I generally really enjoy this restaurant.
The food and service were both outstanding! I will return very soon!
First time at this restaurant for lunch - several times for dinner in the past. Excellent. Will return.
Food was good to very good, enjoyed the setting inside, was overcharged on our antipastos did not match price quoted on menu 12.95 . Was charged 1.00 more for each one, very disappointing indeed!
Morristown's little secret.........a gem. Just what you would expect from an Italian restaurant in New Jersey.
We visit La Campagne every time we go to a show at MPAC. The food and service is always top notch ! Definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family when in Morristown!!
lovely place and attentive service. food was just OK
Other than the sun glare due to a broken shade it was a fantastic evening with great service good food and friends.
Nicely done La Campagna
We're long-time patrons of La Campagna & have always been quite pleased with the food quality & presentation, the service, & the ambiance. The BYOB option is an important factor too. The prices are a bit steep but I guess are pretty much in line with other area restaurants of this calibre.
Excellent food and service. Very tight tables and high noise when the restaurant became full
We frequently go to La Campagna. We love the food! Unfortunately they have placed too many tables in the restaurant making it difficult to get out even to go the the bathroom. It is very tight. Due to the amount of people it is also very loud. The service we had on Saturday was awful. It took 15 minutes for anyone to walk over and acknowledge us and we had to ask for everything twice before we received it (drinks, Parmesan cheese) and no one came back to the table to check and see if our dinner was okay once it was served. Of course the food was delicious as always however the environment and service was not making it difficult to want to enjoy a meal there.
