This restaurant is a local gem! With a full eat at bar as well as indoor and outdoor seating. Our service from "Mary" was exemplary ... she is an excellent server. The food was delicious staring with a very good and "fresh from the oven" focaccia with olive oil/balsamic dipping bowl. Then we had a huge shared "fired strawberry" salad (portions are large). I had seared scallops on beet risotto and my partner had only the Sumac Beef Tenderlion skewer, which was hot and spicy with fresh Naan bread chickpea salad, and garlic Toum . For desert a terrific shared slice of house made carrot cake! Each of us had wine by the glass with dinner. I started with Dewars White Label on the rocks, which was quite a generous pour. All together we rate our experience five stars all around. We are world travelers and just returned from ten days in Manhattan and this Glens Falls restaurant can hold its own against most any Parisian or New York eatery. Bravo!

Food was great. Three of our party of five had a great vegan option on the brunch menu. All were pleased with the quality of the meal and left full ( some with to go containers). Servers were great. Restaurant was very busy, so it took a while for the meal to come out, but we weren’t in a rush. We enjoyed sitting outside. Noise level inside can be high and it was that afternoon. Highly recommend this for brunch, lunch or dinner. We’ve never been disappointed. I always make a reservation.

We decided to give the boathouse restaurant a try during Lake George’s restaurant week. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this fabulous restaurant. The views of Lake George were incredible. Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious. We will be back soon.
