All of our sauces are homemade, all of our proteins are processed by hand daily and we refuse to settle for anything less. They have a nice selection of wine, small plates and other items. We started with the Petite Syrah wine by the glass which was very good! For food we started with the Gouda gnocchi-very good but quite rich, and then split the short rib sandwich-delicious! Hope to be back again!

The food was great but our waitress, Heather, she took it up a notch. My husband is a vegetarian, we ordered a charcuterie app for the table. Heather thoughtfully brought the meats in a separate plate and the breads, cheeses and condiments in another. That was incredibly thoughtful of her, we did not even ask, she did it on her own. That kind of service is what makes a great evening extraordinary. Thank you!

Coopers Hawk, Algonquin is the best thing to happen to dining on Algonquin Rd. We live in Crystal Lake and it makes for an easy drive. The atmosphere is awesome as is the service and food. Highly recommended reservations. You won't be disappointed!

While Crystal Lake Junction offers traditional American fare, I’m partial to the Portuguese and Mediterranean influenced offerings on the menu. The Beer Can Chicken options and assorted “bowls” offer up savory and unique options in Crystal Lake.
