A perfect thanksgiving meal, small twists on classic fare that didn’t disappoint. A good serving of food for the money paid. My server, Olivia, was on the ball and professional, an excellent person to have on staff. I will not hesitate to return in the future.

The Proprietor was was very friendly & made us feel welcomed! She made a great bourbon Old Fashioned in the bar where a cozy fire was burning in the fireplace as a talented gentleman played music. Obviously a popular place to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner! Every table was full in both dining rooms. Service was leisurely, and courses were served properly. The Brie appetizer was delicious; Seafood Chowder was phenomenal; endive & orange salad was crisp & fresh; traditional turkey dinner was amazing & homemade pumpkin pie was impressive! Great wine list too 👍. Our 3rd floor queen room is spacious & comfortable. We’ll definitely return. Looking forward to breakfast in the morning.

Excellent salad bar and surf and turf at a reasonable price. We had to request a change of wait staff at the beginning of the meal since we were ignored for a larger party for nearly 15 minutes and when confronted the waiter told me “to be civil.” Disgraceful behavior towards a guest but a new waitress took right over immediately and the service from there was flawless. The restaurant put our appetizer on the house as a gesture of good will and we appreciated that.

What a remarkable surprise to find such an elegant yet unpretentious restaurant that is not trying to hard while achieving extraordinary flavors and combinations of ingredients. Vermont is a bit of a gourmet food desert so this is a true gem because there is no attempt to make food with foam or tweezers or eye droppers. Just exquisitely Source ingredients that shine

Always delicious! Festive environment by the bar, but it’s probably quieter in one of the side rooms.
