The whole experience was excellent. The food's presentation, flavor and variety was equivalent to a NYC Michelin Rated restaurant with one exception - Chef Monette's portions were significantly larger, very reasonably priced and sourced from local farm to table. If you are a foody, we would highly recommend enjoying this new local restaurant in St. Albans, VT. PS - Leave room for the desserts - a specialty for them.

Our expectations for dinner here were far exceeded by what we got. Waitress was wonderful, ambiance was great, view of the lake beautiful But the food.....it was fantastic. We were there early but the speed of the kitchen was unreal and the food was amazing. These people know what theyre doing!!

We went to Jimmy's 21 while visiting Lake Placid (as we always do) and are pleased to say that it remains a great value, with superior food, a terrific lake view, and outstanding service. We ordered the chicken cacciatore and the seafood medley (scallops, shrimp and salmon) and were completely satisfied, The entrees were served HOT, and the flavor and presentation were top-notch. Kudos to the wait-staff; our host ensured that our wait for a table with a lake view was brief (our choice), the table service was friendly and efficient, and attention to check on possible needs or wants was continuous but never intrusive. And we were thanked upon our departure, which doesn't happen everywhere. No doubt we will visit again on our next visit, and we recommend it highly to all visitors to L.P.!

Everything about our dinner was outstanding. Ambiance was lovely without being pretentious. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Martini was spot on. Focaccia bread and herb butter were so yummy we ordered seconds. Salad was very good. Grilled vegetables were out of this world. Steak tartare was well presented. And German chocolate tart was delicious. The best meal we’ve had in a very long time. Chef is creative with his choice of flavors, and it is truly and experience for your tastebuds. Only wish we lived close by to come here as regulars! A true gem of a culinary experience.
