The Club Tavern and Grill was originally The Grantree Restaurant when three men from Conrad, Montana purchased it in 1985. The Felska’s and the Solvie’s came to Bozeman motivated by the prospect of building or buying a Conference Center.They discovered that the Ramada Inn, (hotel, restaurant, and conference center) was in bankruptcy so they purchased the business. Once a dark 70’s style bar and casual dining restaurant, it also featured a fine dining area.In 1999, The Grantree Restaurant was revised and remodeled to give it a more casual Montana feel.In 2008, the Partners decided to change the name and again do a remodel with more of an upscale sport’s bar style hence creating what today is The Club Tavern and Grill, Bozeman’s Upscale Sport’s Bar with 20 TVs, a Casino, Full Bar, and Sports packages.     The steaks are definitely the best in Bozeman. The only disappointing part is that they changed the recipe for the cheese curds . I’m not a fan of the new recipe but every thing else was great

    Brigade was new to us and a pleasant surprise. You'll find it upstairs at its address, and a different restaurant, "1864" downstairs. We had met our server, Rachel many years ago at Blacksmith in Bozeman ... and she remembered us! We ordered two appetizers from a unique assortment with a surprising number of seafood options (we bought ribs and a Caesar salad) and split a glass of wine. Just right! Beware, they offer a "Coravan" (sp?) version of wine in both white and red. At $31/glass vs normal prices for everything else, the decision was easy for us. You'll want to quiz your server about this Coravan process which seemed very strange to us.

    Started off with happy hour martini’s, one of the better ones I have had! We shared a nice steak, wedge salad, mushrooms and cornbread. All were excellent! Thanks for a great meal! We will come back next time we are in Bozeman.
