    Came out of our way to try this place for a special occasion and was nervous based on some recent reviews but needn’t have worried as it was a fabulous experience and I only wish we lived closer so we could go there regularly. The venue is lovely, welcoming and comfortable. Cocktails were great, service excellent but the food really impressed, beef Thai salad was amazing as were the chicken wings, better even than elephant and castle. The feather blade of beef was melt in the mouth and the fish and chips very good too although wasn’t crazy about the pea puree as would have preferred it served in a side dish and it was cold. It was very good value overall and the atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend.

    We visited Dark Horse yesterday to watch the opening match of the 2026 World Cup between Mexico and South Africa, and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was fantastic, with great energy and the perfect setting to enjoy the game. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and served promptly despite the busy crowd. If you’re looking for a great place to watch football, enjoy good food, and have a great time with friends, I highly recommend Dark Horse. We’ll definitely be back to watch more World Cup matches! Highly recommended! ⚽🍻 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
