In the past, what is now known as Safety Harbor was a land of water oak trees. Before Tampa Bay became America’s number one beach destination, the Timucua and the Tocobaga tribes settled here, fostering rich cultures. These early inhabitants gathered under massive oaks after hunting, fishing, and farming, sharing meals and stories. Today, the 500-year-old Baranoff Oak stands near our restaurant. Our family settled in Florida during the Great Depression, cherishing the local waters and land's bounty. We aim to offer a glimpse back in time at Water Oak, Hog Island Fish Camp, and Olde Bay Café.

    Primera vez en el restaurante. Venimos de Tampa pero valió la pena el camino. Amé el lugar, muy acogedor y hermosamente decorado para sentirte literalmente como en una casa. Giuseppe fue muy atento todo el tiempo y muy pacientemente nos explicó los platos especiales que tenían de cena para la noche. El pianista le dio un toque muy especial y romántico a la noche. La calidad de la comida y los precios excelente.
