An Italian restaurant hidden in the bluestone basement of the State Library of Victoria, beneath the Wheeler Centre. Since 2011, owners Paul and Rosie have served handmade pasta, our signature Thousand Layer Lasagne (beef shin ragù, hot three-cheese mousse) and classic tiramisù, with a wine list that leans Italian and Victorian. People love the service, the ambience and the offerings. Lunch Wed–Fri with a $20 pasta special, Gnocchi Night every Wednesday, happy hour Tue–Sat 4–6pm. Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian diners well looked after. The perfect dinner before a Wheeler Centre event.
