The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world. The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. To the rear of the building in our historic Cobbled Garden you will find our own brewery housed in the stables which were used for the horses and stage coaches as they passed through the village. From Ales to YPA’s, to Blonde beers we are a small producer using primary English hops brewing exclusively in house for The Hop Vine and our sister pub the Legh Arms.Our countryside sister the Legh Arms is our latest addition to the family and is situated in the pretty hamlet of Mere Brow. Here we serve our trademark delicious home produced quality food and excellent home brewed ales. Your hosts Mike & Julie and their superb team bring a wealth of experience in the trade and have sourced the best in the local area to tempt you.

    Had a pleasant evening at Albert’s. Had previously visited Albert’s shed, Manchester and Albert’s Worsley. I was with my sister and brother in law and it was their first Albert’s experience and they thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the DJ. Would definitely return

    Bolton branch. We pre booked thankfully for 7pm, so just a short wait (we did arrive early) It was very busy. We were greeted warmly by all members of staff we met. Megan was a star and very friendly. We were seated in a booth, which was lovely, because it was our anniversary. Our food was delicious and hot. We would definitely recommend.
