We visited to use a voucher we where bought for Christmas and to celebrate our anniversary and the whole experience from start to finish was just perfect! Currently pregnant and the staff were amazing at catering for a few changes to the taster menu and just so friendly and helpful! Food was delicious would 100% go again and recommend to others to try!

A candlelit, perfect night for a woman dining alone I visited The Hawthorn on a solo weekend in Haworth, and it was one of the loveliest evenings I've had in a long time. As a woman dining alone, I'm used to being tucked away in a back corner. Not here. I was given a beautiful candlelit window table and left to read my book in peace, with staff who checked in warmly but never hovered. That kindness really stayed with me. The food was epically incredible. My lamb leg steak was cooked beautifully, tender and full of flavour, exactly what you want on a cold November night. And the pumpkin spice espresso martini was perfection, seasonal without being sickly. The building itself feels like stepping into a novel: Georgian rooms, candles everywhere and a real warmth to the place. Fitting, in the Brontës' village. Wonderful service, wonderful food, and a place where you can simply be. Five stars, and I'll be back.

First visit, having been told the food is excellent - and they are right! Fantastic food, great meal.

Lovely food and service. We had the seafood sharing board, cheese and onion pie and fish and chips. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food served.
