Gather at the Blue Pig Tavern, our distinctive restaurant tucked in the corner of Congress Hall. Known for hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites, its name derives from a gambling parlor sited in Congress Hall in the mid-1800s. Earlier still, in the 1700s, Elias Hughes operated a tavern for whalers on this site. It was the first tavern in Cape May. Caroline's Table is a unique farm to table restaurant in the heart of the Eastern Shore. Chef Ken Zellers sources locally grown and harvested seafood, proteins and vegetables and works magic to elevate them into a memorable dining experience. The restaurant is housed in a historic building that has been lovingly restored. It was formally the town doctors house with his office in a small adjacent building. In addition to the main restaurant, THE SIDEBAR is located in the small building and serves up more casual fare including house made sourdough pizzas, fresh soups, salads and unique charcuterie boards.     I was out for birthday dinner with two friends. I had been hearing good things all summer about Shore Break but hadn’t been in two years. It was amazing. Our server was terrific. My partner (who couldn’t be there) had ordered a bottle of champagne and it was brought to table as soon as we were seated. A festive mood continued throughout. Service was impeccable and food delicious. We especially enjoyed the half-portions which allowed us to try more. I focused on the spicy shrimp and the dayboat scallops and will order both again the next time I’m there. Thank you for a wonderful setting and ambiance for my birthday !

    What a wonderful dining experience! Our waiter was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. Great service, great food, and a great experience all around! We will definitely be back!

    The TLDR is we loved everything about this place. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and professional (especially our waiter Michael T), the food was fantastic, the drinks were great, and even the decor and the background music were nice.

    Everything was excellent, our waitress/bartender was excellent and so were the drinks. We had chicken adobe, salmon, and chicken parmesan and we all enjoyed our meal Very pleasant experience!
