Amazing Sunday dinner, they did run out of Yorkshire puddings but gave us free broccoli cheese to make up for it! Lovely venue and amazing food

A lovely relaxed Sunday Lunch, the atmosphere was great, service and food outstanding, first time visit but absolutley not the last.

Excellent service, good was beautiful and the bar staff were lovely!

The Station, Killingworth provides great pub food at a quality that's hard to beat elsewhere. The steak pie, and separately served gravy, is really like homemade. Not tasted mushy peas like they make it anywhere except at home - the genuine flavour. My companion had the chicken goujons and they were enormous. He said they were the best he'd tasted. All this at a reasonable price. The staff were pleasant and the ceiling was tastefully decked out in flags of all the countries in the World Cup which added to the ambience. Finally, and really important for me, is that the toilets were spotless and beautifully decorated. In fact, for such a large sprawling pub, the whole place was exceptionally clean. I have visited several times now and the food is always of a consistent high standard. The photo on Opentable doesn't do it justice; its has been renovated since and a large patio added, making it very inviting. Highly recommend.
