We are in Burleigh, on holiday from the Melbourne cold. We eat out every night, trying the different cuisines in the neighbourhood and thought we would try Cantonese. We were so thankful we booked as every seat was taken, and we found out why. The food was excellent! There was just enough choice and options on the menu and every dish we ordered was delicious. I would recommend the chow fun and duck boa in particular. The service was relaxed and friendly and the waitress gave us some tips about the various dishes we were interested in. The room itself is pretty and had just enough lighting. I would go back again for sure and would recommend it to anyone who likes delicious, modern Asian food with the pretension.

We went to Rookies on Wednesday evening, first time for me but my husband went a few months earlier. It was amazing. The food had so much flavour, delicious in every way. What impressed us was that the waitress remembered my husband from a few months ago.
